Great, honest company. Love that they offer maintenance plans now and come out 2x a year for a check up.

My 13 year old Carrier AC finally called it quits the week before Labor Day 2022. Called the installer of the system who quoted me a price for AC replacement only which I found a bit high. Called Constellation Home (formerly BGE) who couldn't make the 5 hour window they gave me. So long. Called Cornett who came out when they said they would and confirmed AC needed replacement and suggested replacing the gas furnace with a high efficiency unit as well based on age of the system. I found their quote reasonable and scheduled the install. Danny and crew were on time for install and had the system replaced and the AC up and running in about 6 hours. During the install they discovered one of three auto vent damper actuators was bad (I'd been hearing the noise for some time) and came back to replace it once I found the part online. AC working great and having that annoying noise silenced was a blessing. First cool weather (a Saturday) I decieded to check the heat. Fan kicked on but no heat. Called and Josh came out later in the day to confirm it wasn't a simple fix. We agreed that Monday would be fine to send Danny back out as the weather was mild. Danny arrived on time removed damper controller cover and set both thermostats (I have a two zone system) to heat and instant hot air. We chalked it up to "operator error" (mine), had a laugh, and returned system to cool. About a week later, with onset of cool weather, I again tried to heat house. No heat. Again Danny arrived on time, confirmed it wasn't "operator error" and proceeded to troubleshoot problem. While working with the manufacture of the damper controller they installed, Danny discovered a loose jumper connection between to terminals on the board (came like that from the factory). After tightening the connection, the furnace is operating great. Thanks to everyone at Cornett! Everyone involved was very professional throughout this endeavor.
