I needed a plumbing service and they sent this lazy guy who can barely bend because he is around 300 pounds ,he just sit in a bucket and took pictures of the pipe that has a clog, he snake it one time and then told me that the pipe might be broken . I told him if he had a camera to confirm if the pipe is broken, he has no camera and spent 30 minutes to call his friend. Then they put me on appointment with the person with camera , I waited for 3 hours, then last minute they cancel my appointment. After 3 days , I had another appointment with them, the guy with the camera showed up an hour early , I told them to call me 30 minutes before they go to the house because I do not leave in that house, I arrived in the house at 1 pm and that person already left. I will never use their service again and I will never recommend it to any one...waste of money and time. Lazy technician and very unprofessional..

He called asking could he arrive early that was a plus, I always appreciate that when most companies are late or don’t show up at all. The Technician was polite and was able to give me an estimate of the services that will be rendered. So far I have nothing negative to write

They were on time in accordance with the window of arrival. They were professional and ensured everything was probably installed.

I was asked to contact Michael and Son if I had any issues. I’m glad that I can continue to use my same filters that I used before in the old furnace.

They confirmed that I had the proper carbon monoxide installed on all floors.

Would highly recommend them to anyone that needs a new HVAC System.

We had a sewage backup on Saturday and we were able to get them to come Saturday afternoon. The technicians were very easy to talk to and helpful. They really put us about as much at ease as we possibly could be given the circumstances. They will be back again Sunday in a few minutes and I expect continued excellence.

FOLLOWUP: after the initial technician visit on Saturday, they called someone else to snake our drain until 1am. Sunday they came back to followup and clean and in the middle of that, the backup started coming back though our pipes. So they called someone else to snake the drain again, and they got as far as 9 feet from the house in the front yard until they couldn’t got anymore. They said they needed to do an exploratory dig which would cost almost $10k and had us deposit about $3k. Later on Sunday we called WSSC and they determined the blockage was their fault, and cleared it through their pipes on the street. So we no longer needed the exploratory dig so we canceled it. Both my wife and I have called to have it canceled and it was assured that it was but that charge appears to still be on my wife’s card. On Monday, the Michael and Sons technicians came to get their equipment and recommended an asbestos inspection, which happened on Tuesday and that tech said he would bill Michael and Sons. So, in the end, we should be billed for two tech visits, two snakings, one pipe picture taking job, and the asbestos inspection. PLEASE ENSURE THAT ANY CHARGES FROM THE “EXPLORATORY DIG” ARE CANCELED

I called another company before I called Michael & Son. That company arrived an hour late and told me they don’t know what was wrong with my heating system after inspection. I found Michael & Son on Google, but I really don’t know what to expect because I have never used their service before. I made an appointment and was quickly able to have an technician come and take a look the next morning. My technician Mohan Maharjan identified the problem within 5 minutes, and quickly resolved the issue that the other company was not able to deal with. I’m very happy with their service and signed up for a service contract. I will continue use Michael & Son going forward. Michael & Son demonstrated true professionalism.

The technician they sent was odd and a bit creepy. I would not recommend for woman at home alone. They told me a different diagnostic policy they when they arrived and then quoted me a crazy high price for 10 minutes of work. After the creepy tech left, I found the reset button in the thermostat and it has been working fine since.

As professional and friendly as you could ask for, he gives me full confidence that the work will be done with quality and without surprises. He is also good with dogs-a requirement in my house.

I was happy with the service I received from this company. They were running a special on heating system tune-ups before winter. The technician spent about an hour and seemed to do a thorough check-up of the system. He also made a few suggestions for improvement.
