I called them out because my heater went out right before the temp. dipped into the 20's last week. The guy who showed up checked it and told me the blower motor was going bad and needed to be replaced. It was a small motor with two screws and two plug ins. He quoted me a price of $633.00 for the part alone plus labor. It would have cost me almost $900.00 total. I told him I knew I could get the part cheaper and that he needed to leave. I found the part on Amazon for $96.00 and my son put it in in 10 minutes. SHAME on them for that ridiculous price mark up on the part. I felt like because I was a woman and had 2 small children here that were cold that they tried to take advantage of me. I would never recommend them to anyone!!!!

A solid company with old-school values. Hired Brooks to put a central air system in our 100-year old country home and they knocked it out of the park. Bonus: the young man doing our attic duct work found an extremely valuable antique shotgun up there and immediately notified me by phone instead of putting it in his truck. These folks have integrity, and you just can't put a price on that. You can bet we will use Brooks at all our properties.

My air conditioner went out in the middle of the summer. I called a very large air conditioner company locate in Shreveport, they came out to the house very quickly and quoted me a price to install a new unit. This was my first unit to ever buy and their price seemed like a lot to me, so I called Brooks to see what they would charge and how long it would take to get my house cool once again. (I got their phone number from my next door neighbor that highly recommended them)

They first sent a tech to make sure that I needed a new unit and he explained in great detail why. About an hour later a Brooks representative came to the house to give me options and prices. I never mentioned to him that I already had a quote from another air conditioning company as I wanted to keep everything to myself.

What came next was simply crazy, Brooks quoted me $1,700.00 less than the afore mentioned company did. The unit was exactly the same size so we were comparing apples to apples. I asked if there might be some mistake, he went back over everything and the price was what they normally charge, no mistakes.

I explained to him that I had already received a quote and that they were $1700.00 cheaper. He replied "yes maam, we hear that alot". He never talked bad about the afore mentioned air conditioning company, even though I did, He was very professional and very courteous.

They had my new air conditioner installed and cooling the next morning and I had an extra &1700.00 in my pocket. I am not saying that you will save this much, I am saying that Brooks treated me great and saved me alot of money.

Caution! - This place is run by dishonest people who will give you runaround for getting work done.

They installed the unit my new house and it broke and they keep telling me that they cannot give a timeframe on when they can come replace it. They will give you all kinds of excuses.

Very frustrating, I would not do business with them.
You have been warned.

Called them for quote, had the lowest "show up price" , I wasn't home and they came that day, diagnosed the problem to be a small part causing the issue, and replaced it on the spot. Less than $150 bucks total including the price to show up and figure out the issue. Straight up bad to the bone. I was dying and they got me back to being cold in a jiffy. Seriously blessed I called them.

EXTREMELY UNRELIABLE. Do not take off work to meet them because they are not going to show up or even call to cancel. Very unprofessional and uncaring. Took me weeks to get a receipt. I do not recommend this company unless you want to be forgotten after the unit is put in. Twice they haven't showed up. So much for a warranty ..
