I called because my AC unit went out after a lightning storm. They did not come within an hour. The technician was professional but hard to understand. The AC part was under warranty but they wanted to charge over 800 for just the install! When I called to ask why the install fee was so much, I was told because the installation, the warranty paperwork and "they tack on extra money" (exact words). Turns out we were able to get the part installed in less than an hour with the company that installed the original unit (I did not know that company prior to calling River City) and labor as well was covered. When I asked to speak to the manager about the costs after canceling, I was told that they charge so much because they don't always get their money back from the manufacturer on warranty parts... So were you going to send me a check back after you got your money back? No. Taking advantage of people. I will never recommend this company to anyone!

River City Air always sends out a knowledgable technician who gets the job done and communicates clearly about next steps. The office staff are helpful with scheduling and have gone above and beyond to help us transfer the service contract with the sale of our home. This is definitely the best monthly service provider we subscribe to.

Joseph performed my annual A/C checkup efficiently and courteously. He kept me informed of his findings along the way, noting any options. I chose to get Freon added and installing a float switch. This was all done to my complete satisfaction. Joseph receives an A+ in my book!

Within 45 minutes of my call, Bobby had arrived and was ready to work. After his evaluation and review of repair options with me, he went to work and had my unit cooling again shortly thereafter. River City installed an A/C system in my home 3-4 years ago and they've provide schedule preventive maintenance ever since that installation. That new system and the subsequent service has been excellent! So recently I wanted to install a new "smart thermostat". I tried to install it myself but could not because I thought the original t-stat installation was done incorrectly. I called River City to complain & they immediately sent out a tech to check out the situation. Well, in the end we determined that the original t-stat installation was just fine & I just did not have the necessary skills to install the new one. Anyway, after some discussion they agreed to do the new installation for me at a very discounted price! That was great because they had done nothing wrong originally, but they felt that since I was an ongoing customer they wanted to help me out. I'm very appreciative of their kindness & felt that I should record this very positive customer experience. Well done River City & thanks!

I called for service in the morning and River City had someone sent out the same day. The technician, Robert was very professional and punctual. He arrived, did diagnostics on my AC unit. Then he explained in an understandable manner what was wrong and what solutions were available to solve my AC's cooling problems. I will continue to use River City for any future maintenance on my AC unit.
