Glanz and Buffat Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling

We had a new York A/C system installed 3 years ago and have had to have service with Freon installed the last 2 years. Although we have a 10 year equipment warranty and labor warranty, don’t expect this company to be an advocate for you. It’s in and out of your house with a bandaid fix so they can go to next customer. I should have kept the old unit and installed Freon in that one each year.

We started out as Buffat Plumbing customers a number of years ago. They did prompt and excellent work for us, so we have remained customers. I still remember when a Buffat service tech came the evening before Thanksgiving to fix our broken garbage disposal, without which our Thanksgiving dinner would have been drastically limited. In our current house, Glanz-Buffat installed a zoning system for our heat, which keeps the entire house at a comfortable temperature which we control in each of three zones. Most recently, our hot water heater broke unexpectedly. They had someone out to our house immediately. Richard, the tech, clearly explained both what had happened and our alternatives for fixing the problem. We decided to put in a tankless water heater, the newest technology, which will save significantly on our gas bill. Richard returned and was joined by two other Glanz-Buffat techs, and together the three of them installed the new heater within a matter of hours. We are extremely satisfied by the responsiveness, expertise and motivation of Glanz-Buffat to provide the best and fastest service in town. I strongly recommend them to anyone.

It’s really simple-if you have a huge project to get done(we did), these are your guys! Jon was lead manager, very informative on regulations and what needed to be done! If you have a small job-they are still the ones to call!! But Jerry and Kelly were the guys in our house for the duration! They became family! We had other renovations to do, b/c why not. When you have to do the job that they needed to do, might as well do it all at once. Jerry and Kelly were so great! They would always clean up each day, knowing they were coming back the next! You can comfortably leave them in the house while you work! We did and had zero problem doing so. It took about five minutes to learn you could trust everyone in this company!

If you want GREAT, QUALITY WORK, at a very fair and affordable price, call this company! Literally they beat every quote, and we are soooooo damn glad we chose them! I would recommend them 10/10 times to anyone!!

Your initial phone call into the office is answered by Bobbie, and her courteous, professional manner in handling your request is swift and thorough. Had our A/C system serviced along with some duct work repair. Our tech, Kelly did a great job and was very professional. Highly recommend this company for HVAC service.

Brayton came over yesterday fixed my problem, was very nice, and doubled checked what he did afterwards.

Great service. I had called 4 other places, 1 said he'd come and then didn't, 2 never returned my calls, the 4th said they couldn't come for at least a week. Glanz Buffat answered my call with a real person instead of voice mail, scheduled a visit for the next morning, showed up on time, found the problem, fixed it and didn't try to up-sell me stuff I didn't need. I was so impressed I purchased a maintenance agreement. This is the first time I've had enough confidence in a company to do that. Very happy and I'll recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

I highly recommend Richard for all plumbing needs. He is knowledgeable and competent and without a question the best plumber we have ever used! Richard completes every job and goes above and beyond to make sure the job is done right. Most of all Richard is just a nice guy and a pleasure to have in our home.

An excellent experience Professional service, fair price. The technician took the time to explain the problem, both cause and effect, and fixed it. After dealing with three different companies that tried to sale a new furnace I’m toasty warm and couldn’t be happier.
