A+ Derr Heating & Cooling

Shawn was an exceptional technician. Displayed an extremely thorough understanding of his craft and explained everything completely. Because of honesty and explanation we purchased a new electronic air filter system for our home. I would highly recommend him as a technician and A+Derr as a heating cooling company for having such qualified staff.

Though there was some miscommunication (likely on my part) Mark Robertson came
to check my new unit and though he didn’t have a new filter on him because he thought he was coming to do a repair, he was AMAZING and I actually learned some things about hvac from him. He took the time to explain how they work and how to help keep them running smoothly. My unit doesn’t work nearly as much or as hard as my old unit, saving a lot of money! We can all use that nowadays! Thanks Mark, and A+Derr! I’ll be using you again for replacement of units at my house too!

I am redacting some of this due to scheduling. They have been at the least 2 hours before their appointment window time. I had to have a breaker changed because the state inspection required it. The tech showed up 4 hours early. I was home thankfully. I said something to the tech and he said he had a bunch of “notes” he didn’t know what was going on. I can only imagine that I had notes stating I wasn’t home (in previous scheduled visits) & I’m an awful client. Then I wanted to have units bid on and installed in rentals and they want to come bid again at minimum 2 hours early. I don’t live at the rentals so I won’t be there waiting. The gal said she would bring it up to her “team” after I mentioned my previous experiences. We all have things going on and while I’m happy they’re ready and willing to work, they also need to understand that time is money for EVERYONE! Being 2-4 hours early is just as bad as being 2-4 hours late. If a window of a couple hours is given then I expect someone in that window, not the 2-4 hours prior. Everything else has been great with them but seems like the scheduling software or the people using it needs some help with it.

After some small bumps in financing for mini split units for a rental my business partner & I own, we ironed things out and just had them installed today! Highly recommend! Stephen and Jordan did an amazing job and went over all the basics on the equipment with me. We got quotes from other hvac places and A+ Derr undercut them by $4,000+ in some cases. They are truly a good reliable company. Everything is hooked up and working wonderful!

First let me start by saying overall I am pleased with the service and quality I received from A+ Derr when I needed my HVAC replaced. The estimate was far lower than the company I was using plus other quotes I received and they promised more efficient equipment plus a free air duct cleaning! Sold me instantly. The installer Stephen Taylor was totally professional and extremely thorough in his work. I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently he was able to complete the job. Now on to the not so good parts. The first hiccup was the air conditioner condenser stopped after first day. I called A+ Derr and they had technician out next day to look at it. Come to find out it was the wiring in thermostat which was more of my the wiring in my home than their work but all good now. On to the part I would pay attention to. When the air wasn’t working I went to get the product booklet they left behind. I noticed the model number of furnace was not the same on the estimate I received. It was actually a lower model that cost much less! I called the office and they told me to contact regional manger Vince. After some phone tag was able to talk to Vince who told me that sometimes when the model is not in stock they install other model. Which is fine but they didn’t tell me! I wouldn’t have known if I didn’t check booklet. So after some discussion was asked if I really wanted the model I ordered installed. I said absolutely yes. The did order new model and had it installed within a week. Again was Stephen who did a great job. So bottom line this company overall is very good but even being this good you need to check their work and make sure you get what you paid for. So just be on watch when you use them but definitely put them in your rotation when looking to replace HVAC.

A+ Derr installed a new 2-stage Lennox HVAC high efficient system in my office. The install crew was skilled, timely, kind, and professional. The quoting crew was the same. We are very happy with our new system. Would recommend A+ Derr for service/repairs or new installs.

He was professional, friendly and answered my questions. He called to let me know he was on his way and arrived before I did. I appreciate the quickness of service after calling for service. The lady I spoke with was also friendly and professional. Thank you A+Derr for your service.

Matt and Caleb were great ! They were very respectful and polite. Cleaned up after themselves. They made sure to explain and show how our new equipment works . This is our second time using the A +Derr and we will continue to use them and recommend to family and friends.

Technician was friendly, and clear in giving estimates for repair. There were no surprises. Prior to calling the company they were also clear in cost. As my friend quotes “clear is kind” made it a good experience for us as a customer. Will be using them in the future.

From start to finish they were amazing. So laid back k never got aggravated never minded to explain as they went. Amazing company. Brad was awesome and the installers were beyond anything we cpukdnhave ever asked for.
