Envirotech Heating & Cooling

Envirotech is a fantastic company. Knowledgeable, friendly, prompt, and very reasonably priced. I’ve used them several times and I am on a yearly maintenance agreement with them. Highly recommend.

This review concerns Envirotech's installation of a new variable speed inverter type heat pump and high efficiency furnace that was integrated into a zoned system with controlled dampers and smart thermostats. The new system was an upgrade of old equipment in a 1,750-sq. ft. tri-level house built in the 1950s that has poor insulation and had, until now, lousy heating and cooling.

Let me say this up front: Envirotech was great to work with from start to finish. First off--and this is very important--they were good listeners. A lot of contractors don't really listen to the customer and have a pre-set idea of your wants and needs. Secondly, they are one of the most responsive contractors I've ever dealt with, HVAC or not. Just excellent customer service--what you hope for and expect to get but often don't. Thirdly, Envirotech took the time to devise a system design that overcame issues with our home's original ductwork. It was based on a solid understanding of airflow and made practical sense. Half of the contractors I dealt with who made proposals (out of a total of four) did not offer any solutions or system design; my assumption is they are relying on their technicians to figure out how to make it all work on site. This is not the right way to do it, at least not for a more complicated retrofit where the goal is to overcome problems in the original HVAC system.

I'm glad that I chose Envirotech to do this project. The end result turned out better than I expected. Our home's air quality has been transformed thanks to the smart solutions, equipment selection (some of it beyond the conventional stuff that most other contractors use), and know-how of the entire team, from the owner down to the installation techs. They are well-trained, focused on getting the install done right, and are a pleasure to deal with.

The bottom line is, Envirotech supplied a well-integrated and high performance residential HVAC system that was delivered on time and on budget. I couldn't be happier.

Hello the technician called us back after 10 minutes and was here at my house within about 35 minutes we had no AC running it was very hot he got us fix back up within 30 minutes !!
