Chris P. was prompt, courteous and professional while doing the annual check up on my furnace. He explained everything he did and everything that was on the bill. He even had his own boot covers for my white carpet! I've been using Standard Plumbing for the last year and they also did a great job on my air conditioner check up-they even cleaned out the years of accumulated leaves and dirt. I always recommend them when asked.

I'm delighted with service and professionalism of this organization. Dalton M. was my contact and replaced heat pump package unit after finding my 30 year old unit was not repairable. He was prompt, professional and gave complete explanation of what he found wrong and replacement recommendations, as well as looking at possible future work recommendation. He and James W. replaced 2.5 ton heat pump and programmed new thermostat in a single day, came back with additional material to be absolutely sure connection with ductwork was weather proof. Strongly recommend.

As a former contractor I can appreciate good work. Paul and Dalton exemplified all the traits I would want in an employee. They were friendly, courteous, knowledgable, prompt and efficient. My wife appreciated them taking the time to put down drop cloths and wearing shoe coverings. They cleaned up everything after they were finished. James worked with us and got us exactly what we needed and quickly. Replaced my old heating, A/C system & water heater and did the job very quickly and professionally. He went above and beyond. I can't recommend Standard Plumbing enough! I will continue to use them in the future.

We were extremely disappointed with their service. They charged us to “fix” our AC. We were told that it had a coolant “leak”. The guy was here 10 min, added coolant and then left. We were charged over $200 to “repair” the problem. When we had no AC less than 48 hours later and called Standard we were told by Renee that they were “too busy” to actually fix the leak on the initial service day. She advised us that we could pay another $200+ to add more coolant. Or we “could go down the street to the local thrift shop and buy a window air conditioner.” I have NEVER had someone that has treated customers so rudely or unprofessionally. —Mary Leos

From Jan 2016: Antony B. came and did our HVAC checkup. As always, he was polite, efficient, and very knowledgeable. We especially liked his attention to details - taking care of items that others would not have bothered with, but were important - such as checking and filling our HVAC drain trap. During an inspection of the home I am purchasing the inspector recommended having the sewer line scoped as the trees in the yard are the type that often cause issues with pipes to the main sewer line. He recommended Standard Plumbing. One call and they squeezed the job in and gave me peace of mind that I would not face problems in this area. I appreciate the speed of completing the request and the professionalism of the technician. Great job!!!

I converted my electric furnace to gas. James came out and gave me an estimate and explained the process in detail. The work was done quickly and efficiently. They coordinated with Kansas gas and everything went according to schedule. Rene and the rest of the office personnel were professionall and easy to work with.
