Our LP gas furnace quit operating last week just as more snow and very cold temperatures were coming. Bad timing! Marc sent his technician Shane out to diagnose the problem: a cracked heat exchanger that prevented the unit from firing up. Marc was able to locate a replacement but had to drive to Davenport early the next morning, through sub-zero temperatures and terrible driving conditions, to pick it up. Federal Express and UPS had shut down due to the bad weather. The same day, after the county maintainer finally cleared our rural road, Shane came back out to install it. Thanks to Lins, we have heat again! We really appreciate their going above and beyond to get us back to a safe situation. Thank you very much!

Woke up to a 50° House so I called at 8 am and we had someone at our home 2 hours later! Jay was courteous and got right to work. He found the issue, replaced the part and did fall maintenance. I was expecting a large bill but was pleasantly surprised by how affordable it was. A+ experience! You will always have our business.

Five stars and two thumbs up from us! My wife and I were planning a very important family function and A/C went out 3 days before the event during an oppressive heat wave. I called Lins Heating and Air conditioning and explained the situation.They were very empathetic. The owner Mark was out to our home within 30 minutes and assured us an entire new furnace and A/C system would be installed the very next day. I can’t say enough about the customer service. Thanks Lins, you have lifetime customers here!

LINS Heating & Air Conditioning was probably the most efficient company I have ever worked with. When I called there, they told me some of their workers were just finishing up a job in our area. They literally had a truck in front of our house before I got off the phone. They gave me a quote for 2 different sizes of water heaters. Ours needed to be replaced since it was slowly leaking water. The price to install the new one was the lowest of three quotes we had received. I looked up the brand of water heater on the internet and it was actually rated higher than a more expensive one I was offered by another company. If my memory is right, they where able to install the water heater the next day. The only reason we even knewn the water heater was leaking was because I was getting estimates on having a whole house humidifier installed on a furnace we purchased a year before. LINS gave me a quote on the humidifier that afternoon (the Friday before Christmas) and offered to install the it the following Monday if I called back by 4:30 in the afternoon. I was not able to do that, but they were still able to install the humidifier the Thursday after Christmas. The owner, the phone staff, and the installers we all polite and knowledgeable. The gentleman that put in the humidifier answered a whole host of questions and was very patient and understanding. I would highly recommend LINS for any heating and cooling work. It was wonderful to deal with a local company that was so responsive and reasonably priced. The quality of their customer service was far and above the company that installed our new heater and air conditioner. I wish I would have purchased those from LINS and had them install the original HVAC. I would definitely use them in the future and have them do any necessary maintenance on our HVAC.

We wanted our first gas fireplace in our "new to us" home to be looked at for a couple of issues. We created mental and physical games to get the switch to ignite the flame. Once lit, the flame might go out 15 minutes later, sometimes come back on minutes later, or stay off altogether. We originally scheduled the appointment for late March, pre-COVID-19. LINS customer service person was understanding of our comfort level and we ended up rescheduling several times until June 26th. The day arrived and our tech, C. called if it was okay to come early. We all donned our masks and he donned booties for his shoes. I appreciated the actions for his safety, as well as ours. C. explained all we needed to know about the fireplace for operation and cleaning purposes. He then cleaned everything up and was able to trouble shoot our issues, then resolve our concerns. Our tech was wonderful!! C. was polite, respectful, professional and personable. C. made great recommendations and I took lots of notes. We will be repeat customers and request this tech in the future.

I was referred to Lins and they were right about how awesome they are! Worker was knowledgeable, did everything possible to find any problems and was honest that all it needed was a tune up! Very affordable too! Will definitely use again if needed!
