My furnace passed away early January (below freezing). I had Will's come out to evaluate (I've been using them for regular maintenance). They responded by procuring/and installing new furnace in a timely manner. It's been a couple months now and I've been pleased with the new furnace, and also their service capabilities. Last Saturday we called Will's at 10am because our Furnace stopped working. They said they would be out by 6pm, came by 7pm, all good. The problem was quickly figured out and the faulty part replaced. All in 30 minutes. Great!!! Then we were presented with a verbal bill of $757.48! IN GOOD FAITH BASED ON PAST EXPERIENCES WE PAID. An hour later we received our Invoice. $135 for Diagnostic and $601 for the part. WOW! Lucky us that they had such and expensive part on the truck we thought, but then rather what are the odds? So we googled the part the service man had installed (PACKARD STOCK NO. 65745): $53.98 INCL. SHIPPING! So, I emailed the company on Monday. I thanked them for their service and asked them if they could check on the part and see if not maybe a mistake was made. The owner answer the email promptly and confirmed that in fact the price was correct. So, I emailed 2 screen shots of the $53 price from 2 different companies. Now the answer was that Labor was included in the part price. Okay: even if they charged $200 for the part (a 300% mark-up), we got charged $400 for Labor plus $135 for Diagnostic for 30 minutes!!! We were taken to the cleaners and are out of our money. PLEASE don't be as trusting as we were and ask questions! There are other companies out there.
