I originally called Aerco for furnace repair. The Aerco tech ignored the error codes my furnace provided. Never looked at the pressure switch or limit switch as the diagnostic code suggested, rather he left me with the impression that a new furnace was my only option. This advice can after examinging the heat exchanger with a camera which he claimed was compromised by a "pinhole". He said a new furnace was likely the best move since the expense of replacing the heat exchanger was so high.

Reluctant to spend over $3,000 on a new furnace, and suspicious of the diagnosis, I opted to get a second opinion. Simpson Heating came out the next day. Mr. Simpson was at my house two hours after I called, and within 30 minutes my furnace was repaired. He did a great job of problem-solving the issue. It turned out to be a clogged line on the pressure switch. He was honest and fantastic at explaining what he was doing. For a mere $75, I had a functioning furnace.

Aerco, on the other hand, charged me $89 to tell that my furnace wasn't worth fixing. Can't help but wonder if this is the advice most frequently given by Aerco.

Arrived on time, called 15 minutes prior also. Knowledgeable, helpful, and most of all, trustworthy.

Came out same day and had part already only took an hour to fix and the furnace was good as new.

I've lived a mile from him I asked him to install a furnace he would not do it I would have paid him cash money and I have never forgot it this is Rick
