I had a leak coming from my furnace. One company told me that it was the heat exchanger and I would need to replace it (might as well get a new furnace for the cost)!!! Joey from Bloomingdale Heating & Air came out the next day and was able to confirm it was a crack in the collector box, ran all the way to Elgin to get a replacement and fixed the problem at a fraction of the cost. I will NEVER use anybody but Bloomingdale Heating and Air for my HVAC needs..they are honest, professional, local and their prices are competitive. THANK YOU!!!

There service was top notch Anthony the owner really cares about you making the right decision on what your home needs,,and there is no up selling. I bought a furnace ,ac, and humidifier the day of the instal the guys laid down cardboard and drop cloths and worked hard very nice installers,,,5 stars for them too. When done they cleaned everything and did an awsome job. No hack job here. They are pros ,, I will never use anyone else but them in the future. Thank you Bloomingdale heating and air.

Not all of the technicians are honest. I had one come out and tell me my compressor was on its last legs, that it wouldn't be worth it to add freon, etc. Should get a new unit, I paid $90 for that. Had another HVAC guy come out, said Compressor fine, recharged unit, and it's been fine.

Anthony fixed our AC last summer during a heat wave! He provided excellent service and suggested a plan to avoid costly upgrades earlier than needed. Both our furnance and AC continue to work well due to Bloomingdale Heating's ongoing maintenance (knock on wood). We will definitely call again when we need an HVAC company for maintenance, installs or repairs.

I used Bloomingdale heating and Air, End of July to install furnace, AC and thermostat, recommended by my neighbor while I already talked to 2 other contractors. They divided the quote in 3 tiers, mention all the available rebates and help choose what fits us. I checked with my neighbor, research in the Lennox site and went with best option suggested. Confident installers, took time to answers my question, discussed with me what they would do and why, explain the plan before starting, even added extra damper I requested while they are installing, cleaned after done. Very pleased from start to end, easy people to work with. Looking forward to working with this team in future.

28 July 2015: AC and Heater installed.
01June 2020: AC was not working. Called up Bloomingdale Heating. Great service. 4 lbs refrigerant used and sealant.
07 June 2021: AC service done. still leaking. 2 lbs refrigerant and sealant used. 2nd time sealant used without leak testing.
13 July 2021: icomfort thermostat (installed 2015) replaced with Honeywell T4 Pro (not WIFI). charged $395. Appreciate the leak check but not a nitrogen/dye test after requesting today. Not a good experience. Requested to schedule nitrogen/dye test.

Received multiple quotes from local companies. It wasn't the least expensive quote but the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. The other quotes were for 1 year parts or 1 year parts and labor.

I got 10 year parts and labor as long as I have them come out and service annually. The AC and gas furnace were replaced in a few short hours by courteous and professional workers. I even got a smart thermostat installed so I'll likely be saving even more money on bills.

For the next ten years I won't have to worry about costly expensive repairs, most likely even longer since each item will be regularly serviced.

The guys came out quickly & did a great Job.
So glad we live so close.
Will be calling again if ever there’s an issue w/ our home project or any future maintenance.

So far their customer service is good and polite, but their actual ability to service their own heater they installed sucks!! If your heater doesn't work, what's the use? Fix it and I'll upgrade my review.

We had our furnace tuned up by Chris. Great job. Also we had a whistle in the unit and Chris found it and repaired it. Two other companies could fix it. Job well done Chris.
