Scott was referred to us by our regular HVAC service person due to an electrical issue. Our HVAC service person contacted Scott, who in turn contacted us. He scheduled an appointment and came out in a reasonable amount of time. Our issue was diagnosed, which required us to make a claim to our Homeowners Insurance. Our Homeowners Insurance company got back to us within 24 hours and then the wait for Scott began. It took a week for Scott to get back to them, once we received our money, we began the process of trying to get him to do the work. I suggested many times that we find someone else but my husband was committed to him, one reason being he is a Veteran and one of our son's is a soldier. It took weeks to get him out to our home, he needed money up front to purchase the air conditioning unit and then we waited. There were a couple of family tragedies that postponed his showing up and we were understanding. When he finally came he was ill prepared for the job and left several times during the installation. He had no help with him. He couldn't finish the installation and had to return the next day to "finish". Thankfully the weather wasn't hot. He did return the following day and got the new unit up and running. He promised to return in the next few days to caulk where the pipes that lead to the compressor enter the house; that was weeks ago. We have texted and left a voicemail asking him to return to complete our job with no response. We also need additional tin tape to seal up air leaks in the sheet metal. His work ethic is haphazard and we would not recommend him.
