The owner didnt listen to our needs and talked down to us like we were trying to tell him how to do his job when we were trying to get clarifications from him, and so the system they ended up installing doesnt cool our house to what we need (which is admittedly cooler than most people keep their house).

Our thermostat constantly complains that it's calling for cool, and the temperature in the house is still rising.

The installation team, on the other hand, were professional, communicative, and excellent in every way.

If you need something installed, or fixed, or adjusted, I would trust their team to do it. But I won't purchase an AC unit from them again.

Edit: They replied saying they havent been called back, this is false. They were called back shortly after to address concerns of the loud pulsing noise that the AC was making.

When they finished the installation, they said that someone would reach out once the weather warmed up to schedule a follow-up to make sure the AC was properly adjusted, and the coolant pressure was appropriate. At the time of this edit, they have not reached out to schedule this appointment, so I will be following up with them to get that scheduled. (Just another reason its two stars and not higher)

As for the period of "extreme heat", it may be extreme, but it is also the norm for recent times, and is something that we brought up when trying to discuss an appropriate unit for our house. We voiced our concerns about the extreme heat periods we get, and were brushed off as if we were insulting them.

We were told that a different unit would make us miserable. Well guess what, we are miserable anyway because it doesnt fit our needs.

Friendly, quick and fairly priced - I would use Beery's again.

Submitted service call online Tuesday night when our air conditioner conked out. Got a call first think Wednesday morning and, because of the crush of failed A/Cs in the heat, got service scheduled for the following afternoon. Jason let me know when he was on the way, then showed up, and calmly and efficiently fixed it, cleaned it, and answered all my questions. Couldn't be happier!

We are thankful for Beery Heating and Cooling (and plumbing!). Our water heater and AC stopped working after a power surge, and within only two hours of talking to the very sympathetic receptionist, we had both a plumber AND an AC technician at our house. The AC technician immediately replaced the transformers (upstairs and downstairs units) and we got relief from the heatwave. The hot water tank needed to be replaced, and the plumber rearranged his work schedule so that he could install it the next morning (instead of us having to wait 48 hours). Excellent service! I highly recommend Beery!

I noticed some strange behavior with my furnace around the first of the year and called Beery to come and take a look. Not surprisingly, the 20 year old system needed to be replaced. They made the whole process very easy, recommended the best value system, didn’t try to up sell me and came out promptly to deliver install the system. They installation was efficient and they were actually done a bit early. Rebates and everything were taken care of very efficiently as well. Because of the cold weather, the installers were unable to test the A/C, so just came out this week to test that system as well. I have had neighbors who have replaced their heating and A/C systems in the last few years and in many cases, I have seen that they had issues that required the other vendors to come back many times to resolve. We got a perfect job the first time.

6 months later, I am 100% happy with the entire experience and will not hesitate to call Beery for my next issue - likely to be my hot water heater which they discussed with me as well.

Berry has been taking care of all our HVAC/Water Heater needs for the last 10 years. We are very happy with the service they provide. All their technicians are very well trained and customer friendly.

Called an was told would be here 11-1 today. Call me at 1250 and said they not coming unless pay up front don't wanna deal with my home warranty that ylwould pay them with a credit card while they're here. Got a 9 month old son and he sweating and now gotta call someone else. Trash customer service. Never had someone talk to me like a deadbeat. Stay away from this company

I’m not one to leave reviews, but John and his team are beyond great!!! We’ve used them many times over the years and almost always in an urgent situation! This year we are having work done on our patio and a line for the pool was damaged! No ones fault really but definitely a pretty big deal that needed repaired so work could continue. Every pool repair we called were booked out weeks to months and we didn’t know what to do. We reached out to John and he was here that afternoon to take a look!! Pool service is not their business but thankfully close enough!!! It was taken care of within days!!! I told him he might want to venture into pool repair since all the pool places seem too busy!!! 100% recommend them!! They are awesome!!!

I have used Beery for a long time and unfortunately, never take the time to write reviews! Beery is as genuine and honest as you get. Recently, my washing machine was leaking behind my laundry room wall and the next day I had the plumber out talking me through what he was doing, and how to avoid the problem from happening again! He was respectful of my time and cleaned up my laundry room when he was finished. I had a question about some future work in my basement, and instead of "selling" me on what obviously would have been more money and work for him, he gave me an honest evaluation on what would work best for the layout of my basement. For Christmas I purchased a garage heater. The job was quoted and completed right on schedule without any hidden costs or surprise extras. The technicians worked through a snafu and kept me informed with progress throughout the day. Scheduling with Beery is easy because they give narrow time windows for the arrival of the technician allowing me to use my days off to the fullest capacity. I love calling and getting a knowledgeable receptionist and prompt service. I appreciate that Beery isn't the cheapest company out there because they stand behind their work every time. No need to look further, they do it all. Next on the project list is can lights in my kitchen and dining room!! Way to go Beery...keep up the great work!
