Beery Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical

I have a service contract with Beery which saves money and worry in the long run. Yesterday, like any other the Beery comes out, I can expect the best. We have a relatively new furnace and I like that Beery comes, changes the filter, runs yests, and basically does everything that I don't know or care to do. Who doesn't love that? I recommend them.

I've used Beery to work on my boiler a couple of times, and installing a new HVAC system in my home. The techs & mechanics that work for Beery have always been professional and on time. Berry tech's have good knowledge of work to be done. But, they don't seem to have good communication between what you tell them at the office and and what tech's come out to do. Was very disappointed when work could not be completed because tech said he did not have part. To make things worse, called office and found out he was on work restriction that stop work from being done. This was after I changed my schedule to help them out. Very frustrating.

We have called Beery for help with maintaining and repairing furnace and AC for almost 10 years, so they were a natural choice for replacing the aged furnace and AC at the same time. Melody got us set up with an estimate appointment with John who did a great job of explaining our options, pointed out two issues with the existing ductwork that we could fix to improve airflow, and giving realistic timelines on how replacement would go. Gave us a totally reasonable price too. Dan and Phil came out on the scheduled date to take old equipment away and install new equipment as well as reconfigure ductwork. Wow what a difference! The new furnace, AC, and reconfigured ductwork has dramatically improved airflow in the house! Great experience, and we appreciate the efforts of everyone involved.

Extremely happy with my experience with Beery. Ryan came out and fixed the problem with my AC in five minutes. The previous company I used had wired my blower motor incorrectly. Ryan discovered the issue in a minute, fixed it and checked the entire system. I will only use Beery from now on.

The Beery team came and installed a 2 stage Gold air conditioner on 7/7. They also Re- engineered all the duct work from cold air return to furnace that is
Properly sized. They also installed an Ecobee WiFi thermostat that is managed from our phones. Due to rebates from City of Naperville and the Union for ductwork - the upgrade was an easy choice. Service and labor rates are high, fast to take payment but slow to give you an invoice. I need my invoice for home warranty reimbursement… 4 days later and I am still waiting patiently 😠

Update to post below. Manager did call me back and try to make it right. They refunded me 65 bucks. He defended his tech and says it should take this long to run 10 feet of pipe and cut a union. I increased the stars because many would not have even called back and I understand he can't get that time back so any refunds are mostly out of his pocket.
They asked me to remove the negative post, I instead decided to update it with what transpired.

Just moved into Oswego and needed a natural gas line outside for my grill. I said I would pay time and materials since it was a 10 foot run in basement, drop ceiling, nothing in the way. Did need to cut pipe and rethread for union. It is directly outside from kitchen stove. 4 hours, 685 bucks.. paid half hour for tech to write up bill in his truck. Should have been under 3 hours work... when I called to schedule he agreed that's what it should have took. call to ask to speak to a manager the moment he left but nobody return my call. I paid the bill because I'm not that way hoping the owner will make it right. Did not want to get into a confrontation with the technician

I don't usually post a review but feel that I need to. My air went out a few weeks ago during a really hot weekend and Beery came to the rescue. Air went out on Saturday and they came at noon on Monday to replace the whole system. On time and took a lot less time than anticipated. Would definitely use them again.
