I been a customer for several years, but it appears their service.
is getting worse each year.
They appear to be running a scam with service plan renewals. First they send you a notification which states the cost of your plan will be increasing significantly than when you call to complain and/or cancel the plan they offer to reduce the cost buy honoring the same price paid the previous year.
However, although the plan coverage is the exactly the same, they prorate it on the higher quoted price rate until they make the adjustment which does not make sense and clearly it is an attempt to get a little more money out of your pocket. Of course they do not tell you about the prorated price until you get the new invoice.
The original renewal cost for my service plan was an outrageous amount of $ 418.21. When I called to complain about the increase, they reduce it to $ 179.88 which was what I had paid the previous year and when I received the new invoice the price increased to $249.06 with their manipulation of the so-called prorated plan scam. The prorated amount was based on the $418.21 for 11 days. Time to find another vendor.

My only complaint is with the call center
I’ve been with Nicor at least 25 Yrs.
I’ve had a scheduled a tune up
For my pool water heater and call center said they do pool water heaters.
When the technician Adrian told me they no longer tune up pool heaters and was told by supervisor they no longer do them.
I’ve had this specific service added back in Sep 10 2022
The techie very professional
Also I had to call back at least 3 time
And they kept hanging up. I’m very upset with what happened today.

I am extremely disappointed with Pivotal Home Solutions—call center specifically. I had maintained my Air Conditioning Unit on June 6, 2023; the Tech was nice and showed up in given 4 hours window.
The same A/C unit Start making humming noice on Saturday, June 17th—so I called Call Center and I was told the Repair Tech will come Wednesday, June 21, 2023 between 1-5 pm and I confirmed on Monday, June 19th—
No one showed up then I call again Call Center and the staff was nice so I was told Repair Tech will come your home between 5-9 pm—
Finally Repair Tech showed up 7 pm—He seems nice—
6 Hours waiting time with feelings if I miss one phone call then I miss my appointment until I am given new date and given 4 hours timing Window.

I had plumbing appointment problem as well—both Call Center and Vendor—
big time windows for every appointments
