I came home Saturday evening to a very cold house. I thought it was the flame sensor which I have cleaned and it worked in the past, but not this time. I found their website when I googled 24/7 heating companies. Steve came out in 20 minutes and did not charge a huge fee like you would expect from a 24 Hour service. He tried everything to see what was wrong with my furnace. Unfortunately it was the circuit board which to replace was not worth it because of the price. There were other things wrong with the furnace that he pointed out to me and I saw them for myself. He recommended a new furnace because it would be expensive to replace all of the parts needed to get it up and running. The unit was 22 years old so it was a good decision. He was a very nice, courteous person to deal with.

After I got the funds for the furnace I called him back and let him know he could proceed with the new unit. He was at my house at 6:00 the next morning ready to go. He showed me some other things that needed fixing like the ducts going into the unit and what bad shape the unit was in after he removed it. He finished the job earlier than expected and did a great job putting the new furnace in. He even took the time to show me that my a/c unit might need repairs also. I would recommend his company to other people because he did a great job on the install and was very nice to work with. Thank you Steve for taking such good care of me and getting the job done so quickly. Its hard to find decent repair people in this world anymore that are inexpensive and take pride in their work. If you would like details, keep reading. Long explanation...

To be more specific, the repair technician came to the house and diagnosed the issue as "faulty installation." The system has been running fine for several months up until recently. So I doubt it was the install. He said, "there are too many wires here, this isn't installed correctly installed." Okay...well, which ones are unnecessary? He couldn't say. I pointed out some of those wires could be for the central humidifier and he said he wasn't allowed to touch that. Fine.

The repair man then tells the home warranty provider that dispatched him there is no mechanical failure with the system and the humidifier is what is causing my fan to run constantly. Something it is designed to do. (News to me, I've never had one) This something he refused to touch or diagnose, but felt confident reporting to the organization that dispatched him. He didn't tell me this to my face—why? I was asking what the problem was! He left without fixing the problem.

He was however happy to collect my $100 service call fee for 15 min of work. (credit cards have a transaction fee, BTW) At the end of this, I get a call that he would like to come out and fix my humidifier for $175—which he already reported was working fine. Get your story straight!

Seems like this company is trying to use home warranty providers as a lead generation service by not properly diagnosing problems, claiming things aren't covered under warranty (he said my Nest thermostat wasn't covered, it is), and then turning around and trying to sell extra services that would actually fix the problem.

At the end of this, it turns out he was right my system was functioning properly. All I had to do was flip the off switch on the humidifier and the problem of the constantly running fan went away. Why couldn't he just tell me this?

Zero integrity. Stay away.
