Steve is knowledgeable and professional. He was able to come quickly and help us out so we are not cold when our heater stopped working.

I highly recommend Chicagoland Heating & Cooling. They replaced my furnace and did an outstanding job; honest, professional, and responsive. I’ll use them again to replace my air-conditioner when it’s time.

I had an emerson thermostat and the "CHANGE BATTERY" was flashing so I changed the batteries and reset the system. After I did all that the heater stopped working and this was at 8pm.
Called 2 HVAC service companies before calling Steve. The first one I talked to was garbage and the second one I did not get a call back even though the lady I spoke with said I will get a call in the next 10 minutes. I was frustrated and the house was getting colder.

So I gave Steve a call and he walked me through some troubleshooting steps and gave me really good information. So we set up a time for the next morning
for him to take a look at the problem. This is why Steve is the best!! He did a follow-up through text 20 minutes after our inital phone call to see if the thermostat is working or still giving me a problem. Long story short he fixed my thermostat and conducted an inspection of my furnace the same night. He just gained a loyal customer!!

My house is warm and my wife and kids are happy. If you ever have a problem with your heating call Steve and I promise you, you will not be disappointed. Thanks again Steve!!

Steve was great. Very attentive and straight forward. He fixed my furnace issue the day I called him. I would use him again for any needs. I will also use him for yearly maintenance.

Ac unit was not starting on a 90+ degree day. Called a competitor and reached a call service that took my info and said a tech would call me. Given the circumstances I searched and found this business. Steve answered the phone, said that there would be an after hours charge (same day after 6pm) or he could come the next morning at his normal rate.

Given the temperature and current heat wave we opted to have him come that same day. He was polite, very punctual and professional. He inspected our thermostat, furnace, and outdoor central air unit. He found a rodent nest inside the unit. Chewed up wires, blown capacitor. Repaired same day! Able to sleep comfortable.

Additional notes. That original call I placed had a tech call me when Steve was already at my house! I had Steve come back to install a smart thermostat and again he stayed to make sure everything was working and helped make sure we were logged in to all the apps so I can easily access all the features.

Our AC went out this past weekend, just when it happened to be scorching hot! We contacted Steve. He responded promptly and was able to arrive at our house within 15 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the problem, quoted a fair price and fixed it right away. He took the time to explain what was going on with our AC unit and patiently addressed all of our concerns. I highly recommend Steve as he is professional, experienced and very honest. We'll definitely be calling him next time we need help with our heating and cooling systems. Thank you, Steve!

Highly recommend is an understatement! Quick , efficient, and cost friendly service. Steve came and fixed our HVAC from disfunction immediately. Especially with the heat, we were concerned but he had it up and running in no time! He even explained what we can do to keep a healthier HVAC system. Extremely knowledgeable!

On Sunday I filed claim with my home warranty company and they created work order for Chicagoland Heating and Cooling and gave appointment for Wednesday. Steve called me within 10 minutes on Sunday itself and agreed to come by Tuesday. I insisted if he could make it Monday (it was MLK day). He showed up on Monday morning and figured out the problem in 30 minutes. Made couple of calls and estimated to replace control board. It was about the warranty company pre-approval limit. Going through them could take 3-5 days. But he worked with me directly and he was able to fix it the same day. He is prompt, fast, knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend him for Heating and cooling services.
