We recently replaced a 20-year-old furnace, AC, and water heater in our home. Besco's quote was competitive with other companies. What set them apart was their responsiveness and exceptional service from start to finish. Our estimator clearly explained our options, answered all of our questions, and was very respectful. The install team arrived on time, worked diligently, explained the process and equipment, and went above and beyond to make sure that our new system worked as effectively and efficiently as possible. Today 9.30.21 Joseph Cruz was my technician at Besco Air Inc. Heating and Cooling and did an amazing job that compelled me to give a 5-star review. First he was observant for wearing a mask for COVID, on time and professional. He went over explaining my HVAC system and potential problems down the line. Second he answered questions about replacing my system and pricing expectations. I look forward to having HIM back as a representative of Besco and implore you to also request him for service!

My engagement with Besco had two key "moments" but before I recap that, I want to make it clear - these guys were real pros and great to work with. I am extremely happy with their work.

I had three quotes to install mini-split A/C service for my first floor (the 2nd/3rd floor had an existing ducted AC system). We had been using a loud, heavy window unit for many years and wanted the mini-split set-up to minimize installation time and avoid tearing up the basement for a ducted system. My sales rep Joe Pedota was the last quote I took and right away I could see he understood what we wanted and made it clear we could get the cooling results we wanted with only 2 units. Unlike the other two quotes, Joe explained where the units would be placed for optimum performance, how they'd cover the area and gave us modest, medium and large air handler options. Besco was not the lowest cost option, but after considering his expert advise compared to the other two providers and the length of Besco's success with this, I decided the value exchange was on par for the cost.

After the first day of installation work, I put Joe and his team to the test - their dedication to our satisfaction was undeniable. The first test was moving the compressor and the condenser lines to a different location after they had commenced the work - I was concerned this would be a costly request but since we still at a point where we could shift it, Joe and his team made the change without any hesitation . The second test came a week or so later when we had our first heat of the spring - when I turned on the system, we were not getting any cold air. by the next morning, a tech was back to fix condenser line fitting that caused the leak.

I will definitely be using Besco to handle all my HVAC maintenance needs going forward.

I had a few companies quote the systems but I decided to go with Besco because of the professionalism, confidence that the job would be done right and the fair price quoted. Joe was great with following up, even coming back out a few weeks later to personally make sure the system was operating as expected and to answer any questions I have. Highly Highly Recommended. Besco Air always does a fantastic job. We've had 2 furnaces replaces by them, and a number of yearly service inspections. They never try to upsell, they give a full spectrum of options and let you pick what works for you with and explanation of the cost/benefits of each choice. Their technicians and installers are respectful, fast, clean, and most importantly they're communicative.

Due to a bad experience with another company last year I was a little skeptical dealing with yet another HVAC company. But it was wayyyyyyy to hot and the Central Air was not working. So I called Besco Air Inc. and what a wonderful experience. The initial contact was online and I received a call within the hour. The Customer service was great, very detailed, explained to me what would happen during the visit and what to expect, so no surprises. Then the tech Kevin arrived early and prepared, he diagnosed the problem (which wasn’t major, thank God) and had the AC working in no time, he was very professional and answered all my questions.

I've used Besco both for professional (I'm a commercial real estate property manager) and for my own home. The company is very reliable and fair in pricing. In the past couple of years, I've purchased homes with older mechanical systems and have need to replace HVACs and a hot water heater. Service is fast, estimates are quick and the turnaround time goes beyond expectations. Ed does the estimates and is really nice and easy to work with and really listens to what you need and keeps your budget in mind. The techs that do both the preventative maintenance and installation have all been professional, friendly, and efficient. I highly recommend this company and will continue to be a customer for as long as I'm in Chicago.

Jim was amazing. Very thorough and professional. Excellent knowledge and very fast with recommending options and explaining the issue. He even stayed longer to help talk to our home insurance agent to explain the issue and get the claim filed. Could not imagine a better experience with anyone else!

I had an emergency situation where my air conditioning was not working and the temperature outside was unbearable for my young child. I called and they were able to send somebody immediately. The technician, Felix, was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He fixed the issue and showed me some things to help maintain my unit that no one else has ever brought to my attention.
