During the 2019 Polar Votex my furnace quit working late in the day. I made a call to Assurance and they were able to get a technician to my house within a couple of hours to get the furnace working through the night. They returned the following day with a new furnace and were able to get me back up and running at full capacity with a new furnace. This all happened within 18 hours. I was very impressed by their response time, ability to get a bad furnace working to limp through the night and finally how quickly they got the new furnace to my house and installed. The techs were professional in all aspects. They protected my house while working, cleaned up after themselves and were able to tackle all hurdles that stood in their way. I would definitely recommend them to anyone, without hesitation.

Derrick the sales person was responsive, knowledgeable and gave me a very fair estimate. Derrick schedule my new furnace and air conditioner as quick as possible. Nathan and Lucas the installers showed up early to start work and both worked hard all day. Nathan and Lucas were professional the whole time at my house. The new furnace and air conditioner works great and the install is clean. I recommend Assurance Heating and Air Conditioning.

I don't normally do reviews, but I know how hard it is to be a smart consumer when it comes to these big purchases we make maybe 1-3 times in our lives and there is not much common knowledge on the subject of HVAC.
Let me just tell you that you can definitely do a lot worse than Assurance.
My AC went out right before the 4th of July holiday weekend in 2021. I bought my first home in December 2019 so I am a fairly new home owner. I had 3 companies come out and give me a quote.
Assurance base price was the lowest, and even with upgrades the price/value was still the best
Top Tech was good, but my research told me carrier was better than lenox, and Top Tech was going to be $1000 more even though the AC unit would be SEER 13 while I could get SEER 16 from Assurance.
ARS rescue rooter was the worst. A guy came out and gave me a big speech that seemed like a timeshare pitch. It was so contrived and awkward. They wanted $3500 more than Assurance for very similar products (from what I can tell).
Oh, and since I didn't have AC during the summer I got some kind of priority from Assurance and they came out the NEXT DAY after I decided to go with them.
I will edit this review if anything major issues arise. So if it is unedited just assume everything still applies.
Edit: I was not asked a single time to post a review. I think it's kinda cringe/desperate when companies ask for reviews. So I thought I'd include that info.

The person driving the van is awful. Almost caused 3 accidents on lake cook road when it was snowing. Swerving in and out of lanes and break checking people….

I had many estimates on a new AC and furnace. Assurance had the best price on both systems and installation! Everyone was professional and the work areas left spotless! I couldn’t be happier!!!

We used Assurance through a home warranty service to repair a leaking radiator. They were fast and professional. We received an appointment the next business day after calling in, and the technician, Rick, showed up early. He needed some additional parts for the repair which he ordered, and then was able to fix the leak with a short visit a few days later. Their administrative team filed everything needed for the home warranty, with a minimum of effort on my part. Highly recommended.

The tech Dave who came out to my house from 6-8pm last night wad AMAZING! So nice, respectful amd understanding! I was referred to your company from my home owners warranty that I purchased when I bought my home. Dave N took his time and was very thorough and had great customer service. His writing was legible and explained everything to us. I have 2 lil kids at home and my house during this heat wave is 85 degrees, so I was very anxious to call Assurance this morning to make sure their paperwork got to my warranty company asap. I spoke with Beth who also was amazing and made me feel like I wad a priority. Hope for some good results and please refer these people!! Great job guys

I've been working with Assurance for many years and have found them to be consistently professional, thoughtful and affordable. In our old house we had to replace two furnaces and two air condition units as well as general ongoing maintenance, and they were always great. In our new home, we had a tricky situation where the prior owners made an addition but did a poor job of jacking it into the old hvac. While we didn't know it at time of purchase, come winter we soon found out that the addition just didn't get much hvac pressure and so it was always freezing. And for some reason the whole house thermostat was in the addition, so the system was continuously trying to heat the addition and it meant that the rest of the house was always roasting. I had to pass between sauna and freezer all the time with nothing in between. It was miserable! I asked Assurance for help and they sent out their chief troubleshooter who diagnosed the problem and the solution. Assurance came to install a stand alone hybrid hvac system just for the addition and moved the thermostat to another part of the home and suddenly everything is absolutely perfect---balanced, comfortabel heat all the way through. It's like a new home! And I don't have to strip or add clothes as I walk through the home, lol, it's amazing. So props to the gang at Assurance for smarts, professionalism and value throughout.

Assurance was great and very quickly fit me into the schedule for my broken air conditioning. They were nice enough to call 30 min ahead so I didn’t have to wait home and came within the window that I was told. Herman Damore was honest and friendly and showed me exactly what he was checking and why it wasn’t working. I highly recommend Assurance and Herman!
