We had split units installed about 15 yrs ago and they did a great job. 1 of our units stopped working. With the heat and my medical issues, we decided to replace the unit with the same company. I called and left a message to see if I could schedule an estimate to have a split AC unit installed in my friend’s condo. After no call back for 2 days I called back to see if I could get that scheduled. First the man that answered the phone claimed that he didn’t get my message and he was sure of it because he was the owner. I then asked if we could schedule an appointment for an estimate but when I told him that it was for a condo he said “Oh that’s why (I didn’t call back). We don’t do apartments or condos. Only houses. Good luck.” Very rude and unprofessional.
They installed my split system in 2011 and did a good job, but I will never do business with them again. The owner is unbelievably rude. I have since taken all of my servicing needs to American Air Conditioning.
Neil is not a customer service pèrson, but the price and installation are the best. Everone that works for him has lots of aloha and they are very good at what they do. Neil is so honest, he isnt going to change his grumpy self. I feel like I can trust him, and that is very rare now days.

The person who answered the phone has the telephone personality of a rusty trash can and yelled at me, "We don't do cleaning between March and November. I tried to explain that regardless they needed cleaning. He kept repeating a litany of, "We don't clean between March and November."
I found another company to clean my units. I would strongly advise others to also deal with another company.
To date, I've had two separate split A/C units installed in our house. One unit in 2008, the other in 2010. Both have worked flawlessly and I've done nothing more than blow them out with some low-pressure compressed air and put a few moth balls inside the grating to help keep the geckos out. I will be installing a third unit later this fall, and already know I will be contacting the Aire Conditioner Shoppe once again. Mahalo!
