Recently completed a solar install. RevoluSun was outstanding in all aspects of design, installation and implementation. Julian Ritchey explained the entire process in a straightforward way and delivered as promised. We are very happy with this purchase.

Ian Crumpton & Tiana Fujimoto have been phenomenal throughout the entire project. They remained easily assessable, making the process easy (especially with the HECO approval process), efficient, and easily understandable. The workers were friendly, professional, with excellent workmanship and attention to detail. They stayed within budget despite our large project of re-roofing, upgrading our PV system, and adding air conditioners and the expected additional changes along the way. I highly recommend Revolusun without hesitation.

"What? Is the AC broken? Ohhhhh f********k!!"

It was 88 degrees at 7:30 a.m. on the second floor and we already smelled like feet because the AC died and the weather didn't care. I could get the unit but I didn't know who to trust for install--a bad installation could void the warranty. So I started calling companies I knew and trusted. I called Revolusun. And the people I worked with 7 years ago, THEY'RE STILL THERE. Woot woot!

EASY SETUP: Emailed Scott & within a few days of discussing what we needed & clearing pre-inspection, he supplied us with two PDF quotes for different size AC units, including placement, electrical diagrams, and discussion for AC unit size based on room size, electrical output, and when we'd use the AC. Crazy good work by super smart folks who understand what it is to try to sleep in 90 degree heat--Scott & Charlie moved fast but made sure that our system could safely handle the electrical load & checked for optimal unit placement. Not only that, they got the AC unit from the same exact place I would have--but at a better price. And their installers are the their own, no subs. We like that. A lot.

KILLER INSTALL: Kyle, our AC installer, was amazing. Called before he came (on time, in a clearly labeled work truck, with ID), introduced himself and shook my hand, took off his shoes before he came in the house, laid down drop cloth under the unit, and worked super clean and steady through the morning-- removing & disposing of the old 2ND STORY condenser and AC, and reinstalling, working with an electrician, testing, cleaning up & removing all boxes, showing us the manual and how to work the AC remote, ALL in under four hours. That's no small feat, considering that the heavy, old condenser unit was bolted, glued, and wall-mounted on the exterior second floor. Yes, brother did this job in the air, in over 90 degree heat with the humidity. Like a bad-a** Cirque du Soleil performer but with actually useful skills. He even noticed that when he removed the old AC, there was a small section of wall that needed to be painted under the new AC and asked if we wanted to paint so he could pack up the drop cloth & ladder last. Wow!! We were able to quickly touch up that long narrow strip under the new AC, and have it all looking perfect before he left. How's that for thoughtfulness? Not only that, he was respectful, personable, funny, and professional the whole time. Yeahhhhh Kyle!!

NOW WHAT?: It's been over a week, and the AC is running like a top. Revolusun only asked for half the payment before the job to purchase the materials, and accepted half only after the job was done and we were satisfied. We paid the company directly, no money changed hands in any other way. We like that security also. Accepts check, cash, or credit. Extra discount if you can do cash or check.

Are you sweating, like, right now? I know, right? And it's July soon. Don't smell like feet. Call them.

We've been working with RevoluSun since 2012 on a variety of projects. We have not had any problems. Expertise counts, and we recommend Scott at RevoluSun, if you can get him. We are NOT contractors or "Real Estate professionals," like other reviewers. We are just your average Hawaii family trying to get the most value out of PV, save money on the electric bill, and live a little better and easier. Recommend.

We had Revolusun install 2 PV systems on our home. The first was in 2011 and the second was in 2019. Julian Ritchey was our go to for both systems.
As for the systems themselves, they work as advertised. We have had no issues. RECOMMEND!

We contacted RevoluSun and several of their competitors. We evaluated the quality of their product vs the cost and discovered that the SunPower panels are the industry leader for technology, performance and warranty (25 years). Scott Wishart worked step by step with us and determined based on our daily usage, that we needed 25 SunPower 327 panels and two Tesla batteries. Our system works perfectly!! We generate and store enough electricity to run our central air conditioning system which consist of 7 tons of AC running 24 hours a day, washing and drying up to 4 loads of laundry a day as well as all of the other normal lights, refrigerators and tv’s. As renters our bills were $400s, $500, $725 at its highest in Kailua??? Showed super high usage. We called our homeowner who called RevoluSun they said everything looked right? I asked if the high price was us paying for the homeowners installation of the solar. They said no. What?? This was a small space. Nothing made sense! With the already ridiculous rent for such a small space, we decidedt buy a home in Hawaii Kai, twice the size and No Solar! Our bills for four months straight have been $125?? WTH? I have ALL bills to prove it.

I'm not sure what the problem was but I will never use this company ! If I go solar in the future. I will ask a ton of questions first.

I visited their new center in Kaka'ako and had a great experience!! They have the world's most powerful solar panel on display next to a Tesla battery and iPad on the wall to control the energy. I got to learn about the RevoluSun lifestyle and workshops they host. Looking forward to doing more business with them and coming to their events in 2018! I am in the process of getting solar panels for my next home and just learning about the investment and how it works.

Service was great. They handle everything with the HOA and HECO so we didn’t have to do much other than sign papers. Communication was great as well. They were good at keeping us in the loop about what things we’re waiting on. They even paint the conduits to match the color of the house, satisfying HOA requirements. The whole process, though I’d say is not a fast one, went pretty smoothly.

Started this project July 2020, Construction and installation was completed in October 16th. As of today, January 11, 2021 the system is NOT ON!. They continually blame C&C Permitting and HECO. I Paid REVOLUSUN over $60K and its been over 6 months, no return on any of my investment ... WHY??
