A few years ago, we did a major kitchen remodel and extension. We also had this company replace our hot water heater. We were extremely happy with the service received. However, two years ago we had problems with the hot water heater because the pipes weren’t installed properly and it started to flood our basement. They came out and patched it, but at the time my husband mentioned his concerns that a better job needed to be done. Two weeks ago, right before we were going away on holiday, my husband happened to be in the basement and noticed a dripping sound. Part of the basement was was flooded because there was a hole in the same pipe that my husband had concerns with. He called the office to explain the situation and was told that there was a two week waiting list. He explained that there was a hole in the pipe, and the basement was flooding, and we needed somebody to come out ASAP to help us. The office lady refused to help and kept saying it was two weeks wait. So then, my husband called Kenny‘s cell phone directly to explain the situation and to let him know that what he had installed was malfunctioning and we needed somebody out ASAP. He never received a reply. After this, unfortunately I will never be able to recommend this company again due to their terrible customer service. Thankfully we were able to find an amazing plumber that showed up within half an hour. Not only was he half the price, his customer service was outstanding. I will be recommending this plumber to everyone in the future.

Our water heater died right before the first major winter storm in 4 years. Patty was super responsive, sending a technician out first thing the following day after a late afternoon call from Rheem, the manufacturer of our water heater, as its chosen contractor.
We could not be more pleased by the prompt, courteous and professional service provided by Christian, and Patty's diligent stewardship while we awaited a Fedexed relacement part for a defective valve from Rheem.
Our water heater was repaired without a hitch.
We highly recommend K.E. Greene! It is a pleasure to deal with people who are great human beings and take pride in attending to their customers' needs.
They turned having a broken water into an almost pleasant experience!!

These guys are great. Service tech Christian was awesome! He helped me through the process of getting my hot water heater replaced under warranty. The whole process took no more than an hour.

I have used KE Greene to install my new Trane hvac system. what a joy to have cool air. the technicians were great. They explained all the details to my husband and impressed him (that is not an easy task lol). We highly recommend them.

We also had a gas valve go out on our hot water heater. they gave us their first available appointment and we had hot water again oh and they have also installed a new garbage disposal for me. They are a one stop shop lol. needless to say they will have our business for years to come

Let me tell you, the quality of my service was impeccable and Thomas was the absolute best! To give you the full picture I need to start at the beginning. I called Rheem for a warranty repair for my water heater and they initially assigned me the worst company ever, who don’t deserve the publicity of listing their name here. Needless to say I called Rheem back and asked for a “QUALITY” company and was referred to this AMAZING establishment.

First off the scheduler/dispatcher Kennedy was the sweetest, most attentive and helpful individual you could have spoken to. She addressed my concerns, spoke to the proficiency and reputation of the business and worked to get me an appointment at the earliest possible date. Fast forward to my appointment day; Thomas the technician showed up and went straight to work! I mean drained the tank obtained the replacement part Rheem sent me and knocked the whole thing out in no time flat. The way the replacement part was installed was even more efficiently done that how the manufacturer had done when I pulled it out of the box!🤯

I can’t tell you how pleased I was with the service other than to say I have a new plumbing and mechanical company to refer EVERYONE to! Thank you to the team at K E Greene Mechanical for taking care of me and my family’s hot water needs. I am Soooo using my dishwasher immediately. And taking a shower! Might never wash another dish by hand again thanks to them!

I would love to recommend them BUT I can't!!! We called them as a recommendation from Navien for our brand new hot water heater. They came out and did "repair" the issue.... if you can count a very simple reprogramming of the hot water heater a repair. The issue I have is they charged $400 to spend a few minutes reprogramming. According to the tech it was extremely simple. They did not replace anything, open anything up, do any sort of repair - since it was not needed... So $400 for a few minutes to reprogram? Really??? Please save your wallet from these people and call someone else. I will call Navien first thing tomorrow to let them know!!! * Correction - it was not "reprogramming" it was simply changing something from the default setting.

Addition: After talking to Patty on the phone, I am changing this to 1 star. She was horrible! We asked for Kenny to call us but she told us "Kenny wouldn't talk to someone of our stature".

I would absolutely recommend K.E. Greene Mechanical. We recently remodeled our master bath and K.E. Greene completed all of the new plumbing. They arrived on time, were very professional and completed the work in the time they said it would take. I will be calling them them back for future projects.
