Reeves updated my hvac system 24 years ago. Anytime I’ve had issues I’ve had to make one call to get repairs made. Today woke up heat wasn’t working. It’s Sunday morning and I called Reeves. I got their answering service. Within thirty minutes Brad with Reeves called me. He came out immediately and was able to repair my heat. My heat was repaired within two hours after making one call on Sunday. That’s exceptional service and I’m lucky as you can’t expect that kind of service on a weekend and with the extremely cold weather and the holidays are on the way. Reeves Heating and Air provide service after the sale and is second to none. Big thanks !
This is my second purchase from Reeves Heating and Air. One unit was for my first home and the most recent was for our 2nd home. Both of my experiences have been top notch! Billy, Lynnette, Billy Jr, and all the guys give 100 percent and they don't stop because it's hot. Whether it's out in the sun or in an attic that is 200 degrees, they work until the job is finished. They really care about their customers and do everything to make sure the customer is happy. Could not be happier with them. I will have two other units that will eventually need to be repaired or replaced entirely and I will definitely call Reeves! I HIGHLY recommend them! Thanks guys!!
I called Reeves on a Thursday after hours and asked for repair ASAP on a leaking air handler that was compromising our new drywall install.? A technician called and said they could have somebody out the next morning. He came the next day and left without repairing or estimating anything, telling me that the unit was out of level, the drain needed a drain pump and rebuilding and the drip pan was too small. He also stated that Reeves is 3 weeks out on repairs and to not use the AC (in August) to avoid any more condensation dripping on the ceiling, in the attic.
I called their office and left a message with Lynette stating had we known that no repair would be done, we would have moved on and another company. Why send somebody out to not repair the problem? I made it understood that we needed a repair ASAP. 3 hours later I received a call from Michael at Reeves who explained that their trucks do not carry the items that were needed and also, we needed a custom- built drain pan that they would manufacture in their machine shop. He told me that he was preparing our numbers for an estimate based on his service guys report. In the mean time I called Jolly HVAC in Wildwood GA, who arrived within 2 hours, fixed the problem within 90 minutes and gave me a complete diagnosis of the system saying that the unit was probably installed by a non- professional who cut corners, but nothing was that complicated to repair properly. The unit was not out of level, some box that was catching water, but shouldn’t, was properly re installed and the drain line was cleaned with a needed piece installed. He also stated that the drip pan was not undersized. The final bill was a modest $250 which included the service call. Jolly HVAC also assured me that a drain pump is not needed because the the airhandler is in the attic and gravity works fine.
Another company who has serviced our unit at our other residence confirmed that a custom drip pan was a very rare case for a house AC unit of our size and that proper, multiple size options are available in stock at supply stores. Our house resident and our contractor working on site at this house confirmed that it was obvious that the Reeves Rep was not interested in being in the attic to perform the work on this hot day. 4 days later we still had no written estimate to crumple up and throw away. Good Luck to Reeves trying day. to collect from us for their sales call.
6 days later, Reeves left a message with an estimate for $650 for my ASAP needed repair that I had done by professionals for $250 the same day avoiding further water damage to new installed drywall.
Post Script: There was no offer to come out to as claimed in the response. Beside , I was fixed 3 hours before you called.
The estimate that I received on my voicemail included a drain pump, though Reeves reply stated it was not included as a need in the notes of the technician.
The reply documents workers being out with sickness...then don' t send people out to write up jobs that need attention immediately. A proper reponse to my original call would have been a warning that work could probably not be fulfilled ASAP and decline the business.
Arrived home on Saturday night from vacation to air conditioning not working. I have done business with Reeves since 1995 and as always was VERY impressed with service. Unit had to have a part which he obtained SAME DAY and my home is cool again. Terrific experience - highly recommend. I am a very happy customer.
So disappointed in Reeves. My mother has used them for 18 years and when she needed a duct changed out in an emergency, they refunded to help her referred to another company. The other company said they didn't even provide that service.
Reeves did an outstanding job replacing my air handler and heat pump upstairs in my log cabin. They were very professional and friendly and cleaned up after they were finished. Install looked great and professionally done. Highly recommended.
Unprofessional and unbelievably disrespectful worst experience in my whole entire life! The owner Came to do repair for my Aircon for my business. He claimed everything is good and demanded almost $800 for the repair immediately and I paid him . Aircon broke down again just few hours later and I called him and he took a day longer time to come back to repair the same problem but again same thing the Aircon broke down again the following day. I called him to let him his problem and this time he came back later with excuse telling me my Aircon compressor is gone this time and need to be replace and HE PRACTICALLY JUST WALKED AWAY AND NEVER COME BACK OR CALL!!!!!THIS IS REALLY UNACCEPTABLE AND UNREASONABLE!!!! I was left with unfinished work and no Aircondition for THE WHOLE 3 DAYS!! I have no choice but to call in another Aircon guy and he came and fixed the problem right there and then without any problems! The owner agreed to refund me back my money after I proved to him someone came and was able to fixed his problems WITHOUT ASKING ME TO REPLACE THE COMPRESSOR AND CHARGED ME LESS THAN HALF OF WHAT HE CHARGED ME! Till today he did not refund me the money he promised!!! After the other Aircon guy from another reputable company came to fixed his problem and repair my air con it is very good from them and no further problems . I will continue to post this bad experience in ALL SOCIAL MEDIA IF I DO NOT GET BACK MY REFUND AS PROMISED BY THE OWNER TO WARN OTHERS OF MY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
