Heard's Appliance Repair

After a service call from Mr. George Heard, I called back to let him know that he DID NOT fix my refrigerator, BUT he did charge me $186. for 2 sensors that did nothing to fix my problem. He then proceeded to let me he could come back and put in a computer and it would cost me around $250 or $300. more. He wasn't sure. I thought about and decided to call him back a week or so later and give him the opportunity to make it right. But after I told him I was not happy with his service he proceeded to cuss me out, and tell me not to ever call him again and for his finale, he hung up on me. He would not answer his phone, and kept hanging up on me. Look at his website, it all sounds great ! He does not deserve the one star this review forced me to give. Good-luck

Mr. Heard was recommended to me by a friend of mine here in Athens. I am so glad they sent me his contact information. He has fixed an issue with my dishwasher and replaced a broken ice tray for my freezer. His level of expertise in all appliances is comforting to my family and me because things break and you don't want to have to call one of the big box stores to contract a service technician to come out - he does it all.

He's on-time, super-responsive and friendly over the phone and in person, and very fair in his pricing. I couldn't recommend him any higher to anyone in the Athens/Watkinsville, Georgia area.

Mr. Heard came promptly after hours to repair our old refrigerator several years ago. We were very pleased with his service. So when our newer refrigerator was not working today (3/22/2017) we called him and again he came after an already busy day for him. He was able to get our appliance repaired and running in time to save both our refrigerated and frozen foods. We highly recommend Mr. Heard!

Had Mr. Heard come out for freezer repair. he came in and looked at my freezer. Told me defrost had gotten turned off due to possible power turning on and off or storms. And all we had to due was turn power off and let defrost. It is great dealing with a good dependable and honest business. Thank you Mr. Heard.

Very pleased with the service. It took a day before he could get to the dryer but he had it fixed within a short amount of time. I would recommend to anyone who has a broken appliance.

Professional, cost reasonable, and on time. We have used Heard on multiple occasions and will continue with all of our household appliances.

Called and came out and the gate to our neighborhood was locked although the construction entrance was open. Said he would be back that day never showed. Called again the following day and he said he would return between 1:30-2:00.....No call and no show. Would not recommend them.

Called early afternoon and was set for a appointment the next day but he showed up late afternoon on the day I called. Got it done and now we don't have to do dishes by hand anymore. Yeah.
