I am low on refrigerant again. I WILL NOT be calling Frosty's Air Conditioning again. It was Saturday and the labor rate was reasonable. However after a little research I found that 2 schrader valves that were replaced at $109, were actually only about a $5 item. Kind of funny how the A/C tech didn't even know how to spell schrader valve. The 3 pounds of refrigerant cost me $177. The retail price is $125 for 25 pounds. It's been 6 months and obviously ALL the leaks were not found. This A/C unit is a top of the line American Standard that is not that old. Shame on Frosty's Air! Now I understand why he can live in Eagle Watch where the homes start at $600,000
Mike just came and was awesome! I had inadvertently programmed my WiFi thermostat to settings causing it to heat instead of cool. He fixed me up and showed me how to correct the problem if it happens again. He was professional and helpful. Will definitely use again when the need arises.
Frosty's is the absolute best! They are fair , honest and can help anyone with that financing even if with terrible credit. Their experiences definitely shows. I don't know why they aren't at the top of every Google search because they should be. Frosty's is definitely the King of Cool!!!
Now while they did get to my house on time and completed the repair, what I have a problem with is KNOWING that I got RIPPED OFF on the price. A 40+5 capacitor for a AC unit runs about $30 and the repair took about 30 second for him to change it out. I could have done it myself, but the parts store was closed. It took him longer to write up the receipt than to fix the unit but I was still charged $235 for the repair. Now, I understand you need to make a profit on a repair but a 700% markup for parts and labor is RIDICULOUS. It's just dishonest business practice to have a 1 minute repair and then charge $235. Just because "other" companies charge that, you could be different and actually CARE about your customer. I hate knowingly being ripped off, and now you know that it might happen to you as well.
Made an afternoon appointment a week prior. The receptionist suggested I check my schedule and try to do it earlier in the AM in case something needs to be fixed/ordered. Called and changed the time to a morning appointment.
Day of appointment, they did not come in the first hour so I called to check the status...they told me that they saw the note of my appointment change too late and that the technician could not come out because he was already at another job. Could not anticipate when he'd be able to come out...I called another company.
Amazing!! Gave them a call yesterday & by the nxt morning they had their tech come out & fix my problem. I had a clogged drain line which was causing my drain pan to continuously fill up, and leak into my ceilings.
2nd Monday in a row that they failed to show up for an annual inspection. Each time I was told "sorry" was a scheduling issue. That makes 8 hours of wasted time over 2 Mondays waiting for them.....
Update 6/17/17 changed be original review... They made it right and came out today to do the service. Appreciate the follow-up by Linda and her concern over what happened. Thanks!
Excellent!!!!! From my initial phone call to fixing the problem it took less than an hour and a half. Called after 5:00pm when most of the other places around this area were closed and they had their technician Albert at my door by 6:00pm. Albert had me back and working in less than a half an hour at a very reasonable price. Thank you so much!

Office staff and techs were friendly and polite. They came out quickly to help get our AC issues resolved.
