We had a home built 13 years ago and Able Air was the installer for our heating and cooling. Over the years I have had them out for a repair under warranty and two other times for minor repairs. Always prompt and timely in fixing the repairs. Just recently I called for a repair and service still remained at best, no surprise. I did ask for a request also on a quote on a new system since we are also having a whole house generator installed so my thoughts were to update our A/C unit so it wouldn't fail (due to age) when our generator might kick in when needed. I was very impressed in scheduling within a week. Three reliable men show up when expected and spent the day installing new unit. They were very aware of cleanliness, very polite, informative and we are so happy we made the decision to not only go with a new A/C unit but to have Able Air install it and maintain it for us in the future! Thank you to all involved, sorry bad with names!
I had my new AC unit put in ~ 2 yrs ago by Able Air and this company has not missed a beat yet. Over the years, I have dealt with many businesses that as soon as buy the product, it's over for them. Not so with Able Air. Your outstanding service has just begun. The Able Air team (Service Mgr, Ops Mgr, techs, administrative staff) is very personal, professional, reliable and honest. If you are thinking of a new AC - go with Able Air - they will not let you down.
My relative that resides in Chicago owns the condo next to mine. On a routine check I discovered the air was not working and contacted Able. They sent a tech out and he found a leak and billed me $233. I wrote him a check from my account. A few days later the air was not working so they sent the tech back out at no charge and he discovered there was a leak in the coil that would cost $2300 to repair. I told him I believed my relative would replace the unit but I needed to get with her. I called Able the next day and was transferred to sells. The sells department told me they could not send someone out because I didn’t own the unit. I found this odd since I had paid them for the service call a few days earlier and have to met them and open the unit. It was very easy to get another company out, give an estimate and replace the unit. I’m writing this review in hopes someone in management reads and understands they have an incompetent sells department.
Our blower fan went out on a, of course, Friday night. Temperature in the house got up to 84. They were out to the house in about 1/2 hour. Had the motor we needed on the truck and we were back cool by 10PM.
Great service and friendly customer service. They installed 2 AC systems in one year for me. and Kinda high priced. $180 just to replace a blower fan still under warranty. 😩 You would think the price would be a little lower if you bought the system from them originally. Also I requested an estimate for future work. Never heard back?? Especially being a long time customer?? Seems like they got too big to remember who helped them grow!! 😤
All personnel that I worked with from reception, to scheduling, salesman and installation techs were very knowledgeable and courteous! Our condenser went out on a Monday and three visits and three days later we had a new condenser installed at a very reasonable price! I highly recommend Able Air.
My AC went out. I called another company and the man was ready (boy, was he ready!) to sell me a new AC. My brother recommended Able, the company he uses. When James came out, he called the company and found out the parts were under warranty. James called the office and had a technician come out.The technician went to pick up the blower part I needed and had it fixed within 2 hours of coming over. I also found out the coolant was NOT low as it freezing up will cause the pressure to drop for that test. They also did not charge for a service call, knowing that I had paid that to Company "X" the day before! What honest, trustworthy people these were. They have my business from now on and I highly recommend their services! Today James was in the area and dropped by to see that everything was resolved to my satisfaction. Imagine finding people who actually CARE.
I can't believe someone could get excited about AC, but this new Carrier Infinity system is light years beyond our old Goodman. De-humidifying is the best, unit is so, so quiet, house feels great. Shawn Begley is a great salesman, took the time to explain everything and was very thorough in his evaluation and estimate. The install team, Jerry and Justin did a great job. They were professional, knew what they were doing, finished on time and cleaned up. Couldn't ask for better. Able Air have been servicing and repairing my AC for fourteen years, always fast and great service, thanks AA.
Working with Able Air has been a pleasure. I would highly recommend them. Last year I had both my units fully replaced plus they did quite a bit of new duct work to make my system more efficient and comfortable. There were 3 teams of workers here and they were busy as bees. They arrived as scheduled and were very professional, friendly, careful of our belongings, and when they left there was not a sign of dirt. The new units and ducting worked as they said it would. Bill Jarvis spent quite a bit of time analyzing our home and listening to our concerns. He came up with a solution that worked. This year we decided to put air/heat in a pool cabana. Would not consider using anyone but Able after our experience from a year earlier. They just finished doing the installation. Jason and Vito were great. After they started the job there was a question as to the mounting of the unit. Instead of just pushing forward they stopped working on that element and called their boss. He arrived at our home to confer with them and make sure it would be done correctly. This is the type of extra effort that I was also shown the year before. I would say Able Air was one of the best contractors I have had do work for me.
We are "Snow-birds" were pleased with Able Air's professionalism and responsiveness for several years servicing our 26 year old Coleman 2 ton AC. When it came time to replace it we interviewed several firms. Able Air offered a 2 ton replacement system from Bryant for the best terms. Based on their past performance and their willingness to check on the unit when we are not here, we stayed with Able. Smart move. We had several questions about "smart" thermostats, UV lights and dehumidification. They never tried to up-sell us or have surprises. It is easy to recommend Able Air and Gary Whitlock. Their professionalism runs deep in the organization.
