They charged $ 785 to replace a blower that didn't need to be replaced and I only spent $ 0.98 to repair it myself.
$ 135 for the visit (which is not deducted if you authorize the service) plus $ 650 to replace the blower ... I told the technician that the blower was fine and all needed was to replace a small plastic hose of approximately 5 inches.
Wow, it didn't work ... $ 785 was the price and obviously I didn't authorize it.
I paid them the $ 135 for the visit and went to ACE Hardware to buy the hose which cost $ 0.98.
Congratulations for the excellent service Quamec !!!
I thought I would be a customer, but I was just a victim.

Everyone was very professional and did quality work. My unit was installed quickly, on time , and there were no hidden costs. My job required some custom grill work which took some time, but was installed correctly. My unit is now working perfectly and I’m very pleased that I chose Quamec Air Conditioning.

This company is excellent! This is the second time I use them in the past 2 months. They first installed a new air condition unit at my Grandmother place. They came on time, gave us a free quote and took care of all the clean up after they were done. Today I used them at my home. I received multiple quotes for more than double the amount Quamec charged me. They have done an outstanding job and I will recomend them to anyone for their Air conditioning needs!

I had an air conditioner and two dampers installed over a year ago. The dampers have never worked properly and the unit needed Freon for no apparent reason. I had a technician....the only one who spoke good English...working on my unit. The last trip he ordered a new damper and was going to make modifications. I now find out he is on longer with the company and. I am in limbo.

I would have have given this company a one star except for the fact that they are responsive to phone calls. However, they are ill prepared to do service work that might be out of the ordinary and by doing that they leave customers ya ting.

You pay out good money and expect a new unit to work like a new unit. I am currently waiting for someone else to call me back from the company. I would certainly think twice before hiring Quamec.

I recently had an air conditioner installed and I cannot be any happier with the service and results of this company! The first visit I received for the estimate and financing was from Juan Villa, he was very professional and kind. I am also very pleased with Javier Perez and Jorge who installed the actual air conditioner, they were very careful and professional at all times. I highly recommend this company to everyone, extremely pleased with the service provided! Muchas gracias !!

Stay away. Installed new unit and vents. Sold me Amana on warranty. After 2 years unit was not working. Called them told them I thought it was the capacitor. They said it was $450 and not covered under warranty. Called another company and they changed it for $130. They didn’t even care to come see what it was. Worst customer service. Un profesional.

Techs were very professional and very efficient, and arrived at the exact time they said they would, Explained the whole process and repair. The office was also quick to schedule my appointment and follow up with my phone call. Definitely recommend Quamec.

I have a maintenance contract with this company. I was impressed that I emailed them on Sunday evening and got a call on Monday morning to schedule the service. We set it up for the next day . If the system could be fixed without needing to order any parts, it would then be flushed out. The repairman called out to me after being here for about 45 minutes. I asked him if he had figured out what was wrong with the system. He said yes I'll be back soon but I have to leave. I repeated my question and he said yes it is working now but I have to go now but I will come back. He raced out leaving me wondering wondering whether he was going for a part or just taking a lunch break before coming back to flush down the unit. After 2 hours I called the company to ask what was going on. The accommodating receptionist said she would get in touch with the technician and call me back which she did. She said that the tech had changed a faulty fuse and was not coming back. When he told me he would he had to check to see if he needed to charge me but since I have a 10-year prepaid contract he did not have to charge and so he was not planning on returning. I asked about the fact that he did not flush out my system which was to be done annually and was supposed to have been done that day. Due to the virus I had been delaying having the maintenance work done and I was at least 6 months past due I knew. She said he did not say it needed to be done. I insisted and we now have it scheduled. There is no excuse for the workman's lack of communication with me and him not doing the complete job. He did not attempt to communicate with me and I do speak Spanish but he did not even try to talk to me except to stress he would return. I had pets locked up during his visit which I had told him and they remained so for hours afterwards which was unnecessary. I had prepaid for a maintenance service which he had not planned on providing.

I first gave two stars because of above. I insisted that someone come again to flush the system, annual maintenance. Oswaldo was sent and was wonderful. He did lots and showed me a photo of a huge amount of garbage that he had flushed out of my system. I called company and asked that he be sent next year. I asked that the guy from last week never be sent to my house.

BEWARE OF QUAMEC, THEY LIE!!! Quamec installed my Rheem AC 2 years ago. I called for service and after checking the problem, I was told it would take $450 to fix it. When I asked if the part was covered by the 10yr warranty, I was told by Quamec that it was not. I knew the capacitor would not cost that much to fix. I asked the tech to leave and called somebody else. Well, the part IS covered by warranty and it cost me less than 25% of what tbey wanted to charge. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. THEY LIE TO OVERCHARGE YOU!!! By the way, the technician was very professional and in no way this reflecs on him.

A Quamec sales rep came to my home to give me a free estimate, they provided me with different options, and help me choose the best unit for my house. The technicians were very knowledgeable and did a great job.
Will highly recommend them.
