I had to replace the house's original AC system in 2017. Newman's proposal offered the best value, and I had the option of paying it in monthly installments over 3 years, interest free. This weekend it stopped cooling. I called and spoke to the person on call. I have a window AC unit in the master bedroom where I spend most of my time, but I wanted to know whether if I called for service on Monday and some expensive repair was required, I could pay for it an installments. He didn't know because he doesn't deal with the financing, but he said that parts are covered for 10 years (it's been 6) and that installation would be I think $150. He suggested that it might be that the drain was clogged and told me how to unplug the wire to the detector that makes it shut off when it is and see if the unit turned back on. It did. So then he told me to go outside to the pipe where the water drains out by the condenser and use a shop vac to suck out the clog and the water. Problem solved!

The service technician Al Goenaga told me charging the AC would be about $494. I gave him cash for the service and asked for a receipt, and he said I would need to call the office and they will mail me one. The office is now saying I did not pay the amount and I need to pay $494, and they're charging extra every 30 days the "invoice isn't paid."

Currently seeking legal advice on resolving this matter, but do yourself a favor and AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS. They are crooks and will steal your money.

They arrived the same day I reported the issue with my AC unit not cooling. The technician provided confirmation of what I thought could have been the cause of the issue and additional information about why it stopped cooling. The technician was professional, communicative, and incredibly cordial. When I first moved into this home in 2019 I contacted Newmans to perform a heating/cooling inspection. They found that the unit was improperly wired by the original installer and corrected the issue that resulted in substantially lower utility bills, and much more efficient cooling. I will continue to be a Newmans customer and would recommend them to anyone.

Grateful that a good friend told me about Newman's. I am a first time customer, yet they were there within 3 hours. Our technician was professional yet included us in the information loop as he made the repairs. The new thermostat install was completed quickly and efficiently.

Newman's came out to inspect our a/c about a week ago. The technician couldn't find a definitive reason but did see that the start kit was no longer working. I told him to replace it at his recommendation. I received the invoice showing the charge just for the part is $299.44. When I search online I am seeing them from almost every seller for under $50. Even if there is some type of labor built in to the price it was literally a 5 minute install. There is already a separate fee for the diagnostic service.

Newman's was very responsive when my air conditioning system died. They immediately sent out a repairman who thoroughly check the system. Newman's developed three alternatives for a replacement system and fully explained the advantages/performance of each. The electronic proposals were very professional and easily selected to create a contract for the system desired. The installers were very professional, quick and cleaned up everything. I highly recommend Newman's for your HAVAC needs because of their friendliness, professionalism and fair prices.

Horrible experience. Forgot about me multiple times and then had the audacity to call with a "check in" an entire week after someone was supposed to call in the first place. Sent two different people out and neither of them had any idea what the problem was. Eventually the first one insisted the problem was electrical, forcing us to hire an electrician to solve the problem, only for them to come back out and conclude that was never the problem after all. Someone was supposed to come out the following day and never showed up, and when I contacted the office about it the next day I was laughed at. I recommend finding a different business to support
