We previously purchased a new AC system from J&D approx. 5 years ago so when we needed to purchase another one, following Hurricane Ian, we waited until J&D had the AC brand we wanted. We arrived in Ft. Myers early January and within a week, we had our new system installed…. All good, one would think. Unfortunately, the chaps who installed it omitted to mention that the top cover of the AC condenser was damaged, they simply installed it and left. We noticed it later that day and contacted our sales person, who promised us that they would fix the problem and get us a new, undamaged top cover. That was three months ago and since that time, despite five follow ups, nothing has been done. We spoke with the company again last Friday, the lady was very nice and friendly, promised to look into and call us back, no call received. Every time we call, they apologize profusely. We don’t want apologies, we want it fixed. We paid full price and were given damaged equipment. We are not happy customers. Wiktor and Jennifer

J&D Heat & AC installed our air conditioning system about 4 years ago. They are a reputable company and their business practices are consistent with our expectations. We had our 6 month preventative maintenance today. Shawn K., the tech, has been to our home previously and is familiar with our system. He arrived on time and did a great job - there was no drama. We recommend J&D Heating & Heating.

Maintenance tech Marco came when AC stopped working. It was a clogged drain line which is not uncommon here in FL. He was very thorough and professional, but also personable. He showed me everything that was wrong and did one thing that no one else ever had to help with prevention. The drain line from the AC unit mounted on the garage ceiling was level for it's whole length. He zip tied it up at the AC unit end which made it slant down on it's path to the wall and exterior drain. He said this would lessen the standing drain water and help prevent future clogs. So quick, so simple, so effective. Cudos to Marco!!

We purchased our A/C system from them about five years ago. Since then we use them for annual maintenance as well. Shaun Arnold has been the service technician last two times. Shaun is very professional, very detail oriented, always on time, and helpful in providing useful information for the operation of our system. Thank you J&D Heating & AC and thank you Shaun Arnold.

The best advice I can give you is STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!! Read the Google reviews, go to Yelp and read more. We bought a brand new system 15 months ago and we have had problems with it every couple of months. They do not stand by their product. Customer service is non-existent. . Their "24 hour emergency number" is a joke. Sure, you can call and leave a message with an answering service but it ends there. I could go on and on. I would guess any good reviews were written by family members.

DO NOT USE! JND installed unit in a brand new home in 2021, started having problems at end of 2022, initially just a drain problem with float valve, $1200.00 later, they have been called out 4 times, diagnostic charge each time with a new problem diagnosed on a brand new unit. On one instance they said they ordered a part then no communication for 2 weeks, then blamed Carrier on why they couldn’t get part. Now it is leaking refrigerant after last repair and guess what, they want to charge us again for diagnostic, no integrity or value with this company. I intend to file complaints to Carrier and BBB.

Let me premise this by saying I only gave one star because the technician that came out correctly diagnosed the problem. I called JND heating and air conditioning because my second-floor air conditioner was not working. They promptly came out same day and the problem was diagnosed. The Nightmare of a waiting game, multiple phone calls to find out when they were coming and if they ordered the part that was needed just began. The technician came out on 29 September, letting me know that he would notify the office of need for the part. Then the storm happened. We waited till after the storm to contact the office, on the second week of nowhere, to find out if they were coming out to install the part, I was Informed that they JUST ORDERED THE PART… WAIT WHAT?? I proceeded to wait another 4 days calling again, got another response that the part was somewhere in Florida.. Okay ?? So I waited another week with no response or phone call.. NOW 2 1/2 WEEKS LATER into waiting , still no phone call or update as to where the part is.. I finally got fed up and called BEST air conditioning.. The technician confirmed the problem was the part. NOT ONLY DID HE CALL ME BACK, BEST WENT AND PICKED UP THE PART FROM THE SUPPLIER, WHICH WAS ALREADY IN STOCK AND IN 24 HOURS MY AIR CONDITIONER WAS FIXED.. STILL NO PHONE CALL FROM PAUL AT J AND D ALMOST 3 WEEKS LATER… NEVER AGAIN J AND D, you really upended this customer and I will never forget….

Schedule system maintenance for 8:30 AM and tech did not show up till 2:30 PM.

I did not receive any calls telling me that tech was running behind schedule.

I call office and spoke to two customer service rep’s and told them that I took off from work all day waiting on tech.

They told me that rep was running behind schedule.

So hours later I called again and they confirmed that 2:30 PM was the new time.

Not very responsive and only gave me a $30 discount ONLY.

They seemed not very concerned that I missed work.

This was not acceptable and I feel the follow up was very weak and not caring from a customers point of view.

You make call on this company!

Mario our service technician is amazing! Super friendly, always on time, and even calls when he is on his way. Let’s us know when he will be arriving. So respectful and courteous. Takes his time going over everything with us. Always a pleasure to have him service our ac. Great employee who is very knowledgeable in his field. True asset to his company.

What a truly wonderful experience dealing with J&D. First they came highly recommended but still managed to exceed my expectations.
In short, dealing with Shannon in the office was not the norm in today's world. She was friendly, upbeat and strove to meet my needs. And then there was Mario the "super technician". I hope J&D has a way to "clone" Mario, it is just so nice to have a skilled, competent AND nice service person show up at your door.
