The service tech James came to our home on a Saturday evening. The AC was not cooling at the time. James was very professional and thorough, diagnosing our cooling issue. He got the home cool again, stayed to make sure it was working, and overall did a fantastic job!

On December 29, 2015 I had Coastal Cooling install a new AC system with a ten year warranty. On April 8, 2019 my AC quit working. Coastal Cooling came and fixed my unit the next day. After it was fixed I was charged $228 for parts plus $99 service charge. When I complained that the AC unit was under warranty, I was told that because I didn't use Coastal Cooling for maintenance work. I was told that I couldn't use anyone else for maintenance on my AC because it would void my warranty. So after 1 week after they fixed and serviced my AC unit, I had to have them come back and service my AC at another cost of $99 to get my warranty back in service. After going through all my paperwork, there is nothing that states that I need Coastal Cooling to do my maintenance. I feel I'm being blackmailed to be forced to use them exclusively to have a warranty that even Carrier AC has on the unit.

We have a three year maintenance contract with this company and asked for an estimate to add a Perfect Fit Filter to our home. At time of maintenance the technician took pictures and measurements but we never heard back from him. Did multiple follow up calls to Coastal Cooling but still no written estimate. Asked to speak to a supervisor/manager but they would not connect me. Very disappointing.

My main compressor wouldnt kick in (on a Saturday of course...) . Dave showed up within 30 minutes. Has me running until parts arrive. Ive used Coastal Cooling for my 2 prior new builds. I have been very satisfied with this company for over 15 years.

Very prompt and easy to work with, very honest with their billing and the manager is exceptional. We will work with them again if and when the need arises.

I made the mistake of using some other AC place first. I’m glad I decided to get a second option. These guys saved me literally 1000’s of dollars. The other company made up a bunch of problems and told me I needed a new unit, around $4500!! My current unit is only 3 years old! Jorge fixed it for a couple of hundred bucks. Big thank you to coastal, Brooke, Jorge and Darwin!! I know who I’ll b calling next time!

They are very professional and informative. They explain to you exactly the “issue or problem” that was discovered and how the fix it. Very reasonable with pricing. Highly recommend this company!!!!
