Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning

I highly recommend Lowes for duct cleaning. They are reasonably priced, timely, and easy to work with. Added bonus: when a Sears contractor tried to scam me regarding my ducts, they took the time to explain the air duct disinfectant scam without even knowing that I would be using them!

Luis was our technician and he did a great job.

He showed up on time, worked well with us, followed up with me after with pictures, and was generally nice and approachable.

Lowe's have great reviews on Google that gave me confidence. Really no surprise but thankful I made the right choice ! Staff are professional and attentive, leaving no mess in the house. Highly recommended !

The tech, Bruno, was the best. He called about arriving early and arrived when stated. He explained the process and made sure everything was clean and working properly before he left. Great business!

I have no complaints about this company. The young man who was here was polite, efficient, wore a protective mask and took off his shoes when entering. He did a thorough job, replaced everything to its original position and cleaned up any mess that was made

I arranged to have the ducts in my 2-bedroom condominium cleaned by Lowe's. I called one day and the next day at 8.00am, after a pre-call at 7.30, the technician showed up. Unfortunately, after his inspection of the apartment he determined that the cleaning could not be done due to the peculiar configuration of the ducts and other related problems accessing the HVAC system (the heat pump is in a closet with very little space to work). The technician said that he could do only part of the job but that it likely would not solve the dust problems in the apartment. After discussing various options we agreed that another strategy would be for me to install dust filters inside all the registers. The technician said he had done this for a relative's basement; also because he was unable to clean the ducts.

So, despite the fact that the job was not done the technician was honest, thoughtful about his further recommendation and did not push a service on me that would not have been satisfactory. Furthermore, even after I offered the manager-in-charge (over the phone) to pay a 'consulting fee' since the technician had shown up, instead Lowes returned the full fee to me immediately. For this I give them a 5 star rating for being honest, thoughtful and professional about my situation. Surely another less honest vendor would have done the job, taken the fee, and left me with an incompleted and unsatisfactory result. Five stars for Lowe's for a professional approach!!

The service provided was wonderful at all levels; but especially so when the technician, Daniel. When he arrived, he got right down to the business of cleaning my second floor dryer vent. He explained to me what was to happen and handled everything in such a professional manner – EVEN when he was up on the ladder, and there was such an “explosion” of lint that came out as he was maneuvering that hose apparatus, that he was – no exaggeration – covered in lint from his hat, face, and upper body to just slightly below the waist! The dark clothing he had on looked light gray from the large amount of lint (I’d estimate at least eight years’ worth). He came down, I gave him a couple of towels to clean off the lint then he went back up and resumed his work. In the military, we’d call that going “Above and beyond” to complete the mission regardless of the obstacles – Daniel, impressively, did that!
