    Massimo and Jeremy came to our house to do the annual furnace and boiler cleaning. Massimo noted that one of our smok-pipe elbows was cracked and needed to be replaced - I tracked one down while he was cleaning the combustion chamber on the furnace and he installed it. (A previous repairman had put some tape over the leaking pipe rather than telling me that it needed to be replaced). Massimo also noted that the combustion chamber on the boiler was extremely sooty and speculated that the previous repair person had not cleaned it. He took the extra time to clean this combustion chamber. Massimo took the time to make sure our boiler and furnace were in tip-top shape going into the cold season - thank you for taking the time to do such a good job.

    The customer service representative called and set appointment for our annual heating system maintenance. She called again to alert us that service representative was on his way. He arrived promptly as scheduled and preformed the maintenance successfully. The service representative put on plastic shoe cover ups when entering the house to avoid tracking in any dirt.

    Omar was prompt and courteous. He showed extensive patience & knowledge of the tasks before him. His supervisor, Jamin, was also present, and displayed experience beyond his years, and professionalism.
    I would recommend SOLVIT to anyone who asked based on the two gentlemen that were in my home today.

    Solvit provided a very thorough health and safety assessment of our home. Karl spent about 4 hours measuring and testing various aspects of weatherization including crawling around in the attic to determine our needs. He utilized quite an assortment of toys... relatively high tech test equipment to conduct the surveys. He was personable, professional and knowledgable and did a fine job for us.

    I called to set up an appt. which I was first told was 9am. Only to be told the day of that there was a 2 hour window. So this window would now would be 9a -11a, so why did the guy show up at 12:15pm, UNACCEPTABLE. I lost my whole morning waiting, I've had a better response from the cable company. This was the WORST experience EVER, and when the guy got here he tells me it would be $350.00 just to change a $25 valve.

    During fall checkup, Chris found leaking pipe and repaired in a professional manner. He was on time for the appointment and left the area clean. We have used Solvit for many years and have found them thorough when doing their checkups.

    Servicing was performed according to my expectations as Is usually the case with my experience with Solvit. The front office called during the appointment window and the service person arrived according to that schedule. What was unusual is that I normally receive a call the day in advance confirming the appointment. That didn't happen this time. This is not a huge issue as I am usually around the house most of the day anyway.

    I had to call for my elderly neighbor who is hard of hearing, they came out in under 2 hours and the technician was very good and patient while explaining everything to my neighbor. I would definitely Call them again!
