I called on a referral from a friend and Joseph was wonderful! His employee was professional and kind (I had a boiler issue and he educated me to understanding what was going on). I was able to fix the immediate issue today and was given an estimate for a replacement to start saving towards in the future. I would recommend this company in a heartbeat. Wonderful experience. I had to have my whole boiler replaced and they were able to get to it within the week. They came up with a very good quote compared to other companies around Hartford. Dealing with Joe was very straight forward, no nonsense which was refreshing.

I didn't get the thermostats I wanted. I wish I had been given some programmable thermostat options.

After our original plumber bailed on us an hour before our appointment, I called Abbate Plumbing & Heating and was greeted by a friendly receptionist. She listened to my explanation of the job and passed the info along to Joe who was patient and understanding of the scope of work. He quoted a fair price and came out within 24 hours the day before Thanksgiving to do our job for us and we couldn't be happier. I've always had great experiences dealing with Joe. Most of the time they are able to come the same day. Very responsive, reliable, professional and do an overall great job. Highly recommend them to anyone!

Joseph Abbate plumbing has come out a couple times in heating emergencies -- the water heater needed to be replaced and leaked in the basement and we had no heat in the winter and a part in the boiler needed to be replaced.

Both times they came out within hours of being called and fixed the issue promptly and at a fair price.

I would not even give this guy a single star. I own properties throught Connecticut, was in need of a Heating specialist at a unit that i rent, this guy says he doesent service certain areas, like human beings dont live there. Guy must be profiling or racist, regardless this is not the company to call, apparently he must be of a superior species.

Amazing customer service and quick service. So grateful that the owner takes time to talk to his customers. Great experience from start to finish. (New furnace....)
