Chris is the tech that came to my house. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me. Most companies in Colorado Springs just want to try to sell you a new furnace no matter what. Fountain Valley Mechanical is a very honest company that will fix what you need fixed and be on their way. I've finally found my go to mechanical company.

I purchased a furnace & A/C unit 2 yrs ago and was very pleased !
Not only was my experience really great but the owner himself was very professional whenever he came to evaluate my home and the price was very affordable!
Before, I contacted Fountain Valley Mechanical I got two other estimates from Smith's and One Source, their prices were ridiculously expensive and a rip off because the workers work for a commission.
I was very blessed to find a very honest business like Fountain Valley Mechanical and I have never regretted my purchase. I continued to use their services for my summer & fall check ups/maintenance on my equipment and their prices are very affordable!

So, if you DON'T want the run around, want affordable quotes, fair prices & good equipment...I truly recommend this business!

If you need HVAC work and don't talk to this company, you are doing yourself a disservice. A general contractor referred me to Fountain Valley Mechanical in 2000 and they've been my go-to ever since. Everyone on their staff from the receptionist to the owner is friendly, professional and efficient. More importantly, they take the time to understand the customer's needs and to offer sound advice and appropriate solutions. I'm a comparison-shopper and can say with experience that this company charges a fair price even during peak demand when others will try to oversell or overcharge you. Strongly recommended!

Fountain Valley Mechanical has been an excellent HVAC service provider to us for 24 years now. I didn't even consider looking for anyone else when I needed to replace our heater due to it being water damaged. They installed an entire new system and we added Central air also. They completed the entire job in less than a day. Staying cool now!

We have had fountain valley mechanical maintain and repair equipment at our house three times now. I enjoy the "repair first" attitude with so many companies that just want to sell new equipment.

I had Fountain Valley Mechanical come out today (for the third year) to service my Air Conditioner, and I had another fantastic experience, using this company's services. The owner Matt, is outstanding. He came out initially, when the company I had been using, kept giving me horrible service and shoddy work and after 12 "service" appointments, the former company I had used still could not fix my AC. Matt fixed the issue within 10 minutes, and then proceeded to give my entire system a full inspection and cleaning. I was hooked. Everytime Fountain Valley Mechanical has been here I have had a very positive experience. Today was no exception. The technician who came out, Robert, was polite, professional, (he even came wearing a filtered Mask) and was extremely proficient and explained everything very clearly. He was also very thorough, (even though it took a little extra time,) he did detailed work and it was truly worth the time, and I was actually able to see excellent results! I wish I would have known about Fountain Valley Mechanical years ago, because this Company and ALL of their personnel are very good, hard working people, and that was definitely proven again today, Robert was a true professional and is a definite asset to FVM! They are such an amazing team, that I signed a three year service agreement,, and hope to have them around many, many years WITH the current owner and staff, as they are the "magic," that makes this such a wonderful Company! Thank you, MATT, for saving me from two terribly knowledgeable and money hungry companies and making me feel like a part of your family! Great service, friendly staff, prompt and courteous service.

They replaced my furnace, installed an AC condenser, replaced old busted duct work, relocated a return, made a new opening for another return (that the home flipper had tiled over), opened up two other registers (also, that the home flipper had tiled over), and installed a new thermostat. All in less than 12 hours. I Could not recommend these folks more highly. If you're in the market for HVAC work, give them a call!

What a great company! My parents and brother have been using FVM for years and I see why. For the first time I had to use them to replace a furnace in a house we just bought 3 weeks ago, a furnace that was under a National recall because of fires, which our home inspector missed. Matt, Jenny and their whole staff are wonderful. Very professional but still with a family atmosphere. Other companies have gotten so big that they don't care if they have to take care of customers like they are family because another one will come along, that's not so with FVM! Thank you for such a wonderful job and a wonderful experience!

I was a dedicated and loyal customer with Fountain Valley Mechanical for over 15 years and unfortunately, it has come to an end. First, my hot water heater broke down last February and needed to be replaced. I called them to come check it out and thought there was no need to worry because I had a great relationship with this company and can always count on them to help me in a situation like this. They told me there will be no charge for a diagnostic test. Well, to my disbelief, they told me it will cost me approximately $1700 for the hot water heater with full instillation. I then told them that is way too much, and I will look around to see if I can get a better deal somewhere else, in which I did. To my horror, I received a bill in the mail for $158.00! I disputed this charge because I was told it would be none for the diagnostic, and got it down to where it was reasonable. Flash forward to August, and I called them to get an estimate on a new furnace. The owner Matt comes by with all smiles on his face, and happily gives me the estimate. However, he did not leave me any brochures or technical information about the new furnace he wants me to buy from them, so I called the office and asked his secretary if he was willing to give me some, in which she said yes. Well, one week went by, and no information from Matt, so I called again, and she said he had a personal matter to take care of, and after he took care of that, he would get the information to me. However, I could tell she was not telling me the truth because her voice was trembling. I told her I would not purchase anything I don't see, especially on a big investment, such as a furnace. Again, weeks went by and no word from Matt, so I went with another company and got a much better deal. This is not the same company it was when his father was running it. It's not about the customer anymore, and all about the almighty dollar. They lost me forever, and when you get one of your employees to lie for you, that's where the line is drawn. Integrity and trust is the most important ingredient in any business. If he no longer wanted to do business with me, he certainly could have refused, but he chose to just ignore me. I don't recommend doing business with them, and would call another company that is honest and trustworthy. My fifteen years of loyalty no longer meant anything to them.

Fountain Valley Mechanical did an excellent job installing central air in our home. We are new homeowners and Matt made the whole process quick and easy. I would recommend them to anyone!
