Robbins Commercial HVAC

I hired Robbins Commercial HVAC for a liquid line refrigerant leak in a wall-pack HVAC unit in a condo. We already knew what the problem was and where it was from a previous contractor who worked on our unit.

The independent tech Robbins sent didn't show up on time, then rescheduled for three days later. Once he finally showed up and did a diagnostic for 125.00 dispatch fee and 225.00 nitrogen pressure test, the tech said he could easily fix the issue.

The tech started welding around the compressor and then said he can't fix the damage and would have to come back. The tech said the compressor is " burned out" and needs to be replaced, for $3,200, after about two hours of work. He then said he could do it for $2,200 if we went through him directly. My invoice showed they charged $600 for labor - for two hours of work, and an additional $300 for welding. I paid $899 in full for the service at the time, because I didn't know damage had been done to our unit, but I felt something wasn't right, and our HVAC unit was still broken.

I then hired another contractor from a different company that is actually experienced with wall packs, who came in and discovered the previous contractor from Robbins Commercial HVAC used the wrong soldering materials worked on the wrong part of the unit, damaged our unit, and created additional leaks!

We finally fixed the original leak plus the two new leaks from the tech Robbins Commercial HVAC sent. We didn't need to replace the compressor - there was nothing wrong with it. This cost us $1,100 in addition to the $900 we paid Robbins.

I called Robbins Commercial four times to complain about the job and each time spoke with a different person who told me someone will "call me right back" - which never happened. I requested a refund multiple times only to be told someone will call me, which they never did until I filed a dispute through the credit card company.

This company dispatches dishonest contractors who could damage your unit. Customer service is unprofessional and rude - the "shop manager" told me to "sue them" if I wanted to get my refund. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

Joe and his helpers did an outstanding job, went above and beyond the call of duty, were professional and knowledgeable. They replaced my old furnace unit that lasted almost 24 years, with the same brand and for that I was happy. They removed the old unit, covered my carpet with plastic, cleaned the work area, and put everything back the way it was. An amazing company indeed. I'm happy to report that it's running perfectly. Bravo!!

Our technician was knowledgeable and thorough. We are satisfied with our purchase and plan to keep our system up and running for years to come.

Just completed a complete Carrier system replacement, including all the ductwork in our attic. From the in-home consultation to the install process and post-install walk-through of the system, the pros impressed me. The lifetime warranty is valuable icing on the cake. I contacted Robbins Commercial HVAC and they had a technician scheduled for the next day to repair my furnace. Jack showed up promptly and diagnosed the problem. He was courteous, swift, professional and the pricing is fair. I'd recommend them.

I wish I could give 6 or more stars .Few months ago I was desperate to find someone who can help with my workplace ac system , as a few units weren’t working , so I looked on Facebook and found cruz hvac services , I called them right away and asked them if they can check one of the units, and they did, they fixed one unit at one location , then we moved to another location for a second unit and again they fixed it , the same day they fixed two , they’re very fair in price , very responsive , and always willing to help you as soon as possible ,Since then I’ve been using their services and will continue. If you’re looking for a fair , honest and professional company to help you with your ac/ heat system, this is the right company , I definitely recommend it.
