Found John Burger via Facebook of all places, did some checking around- and they were the most reasonable priced and being local able to come sooner. At the time I had a very old and dying unit. The repair tech was awesome! Told me the issues and what needed to be done, and what to plan for in the future. I explained that I was on a fixed and limited budget- he was able to repair my unit without bankrupting me at that time. Fast forward a year- the old unit finally said it had had enough and was done, despite regular servicing from John Burger. I shopped around learned about the different types of units. And went with the unit that John Burger recommend for my needs. After the install, they checked in to make sure everything was working properly! And when there was a concern, John himself came out to assess the concern, and he took care of it!! It was a great feeling knowing that even the owner is able to come out and personally take care of his customers!! Will always use them, and recommend to everyone! Good people and great work!! I've had a service agreement with John Burger for years so when it came time to finally buy a new air conditioner, I knew they could be trusted. Everything, from start to finish, was handled courteously and professionally. Great office staff, great installers. Highly recommend.

John Burger has been my "go to" guy for 15 years for diagnostics and repairs for HVAC systems. When it was time for a new AC and furnace (2017), John was the first contractor I considered. From his on site assessment to the office staff written estimate and communication to installation, ALL of his staff are professional and personable. They helped us move into the 21st century with a "smart" thermostat and ensured that the new system and ducting met current standards. I have always been 120% satisfied with John Burger and his team.

Thank you for the many systems you have installed for our construction company. It is nice to have a quality team to get the job done in a timely manner and at competitive prices. I know that some of our jobs are not easy. Custom homes always provide plenty of challenges. But it is great to work with people who know how to meet those challenges when they arrive. It seems as though as the home gets older the cost of repairs goes up! We were SO pleasantly surprised today when we had our heat/air unit serviced! We were having a problem with our fan continuing to run. Trey explained what was going on (in terms we could understand), he and Matt fixed the problem and gave our unit a much needed cleanup. The price was so reasonable I was happy to write the check. We will only call Burger Heating and Air in the future!

I could not have been more impressed or pleased with the work and expertise shown by Burger Heating & Air. My A/C unit stopped working at the end of last summer. I called out two other well known and well advertised heating and air companies. The first told my my compressors were shot and that I would need a whole new A/C and Heating system to the tune of $15,000. The second company told me that they could do just the A/C system for a cost of $7,000. Since it was the end of summer, I chose to just ride it out and wait till spring of this year. So again this year I called out the same two companies and was quoted similar pricing after the inspections by their technicians again being told the compressors in my A/C unit were shot. On a last thought I figured I would call one more company...I googled heating and air companies in the area and Burger Heating & Air popped up, so I called. I explained what had gone on and what the other technicians had said, and John told me it didn't sound right. My system was only 10 years old and shouldn't need new compressors. So John offered to come to my house to check it out himself. He actually came out the next day and offered to come after 5 when I would get home from work. Within 15 minutes of going through my system, he had found the problem, replaced one part (a $40 or $50 capacitor) and had my A/C back up and running perfectly. So not only did I not need to spend between $7,000 and $15,000 to have my A/C unit fixed but the compressors were fine. I will never use another company for my air conditioning and heating needs. Burger Heating & Air are not sales guys like the other companies I had come check out my A/C problems. They are trained and qualified heating and air technicians. They actually try to fix the problem, not just sell you another system. I am a customer for life.

I was the contact person at work many years ago when John was a one man show and I was always impressed with his can do attitude. Fast forward to today and I was tired of worrying about a 41 year old system that had long ago exceeded its life expectancy. John was the first and only company I called. He came out and surveyed the system, checked my existing system which had quit working (it miraculously worked) and a few days later I had an estimate with 4 choices. After research, i chose the two stage variable speed option. I stopped by and provided my choice. At the same time our AC had been out again for a couple of days with 100 degree weather and when I mentioned this to Jennifer she promised to get a technician out that day to get it running (I told her that I thought it was just the condenser fan motor) and if that didn't fix it, she would push up the schedule on the unit replacement. We did get it running so the original schedule worked out fine. Plus, there was no charge for the temporary fix. We greatly appreciated the personal service.

They are the best heating and Air in Yuba city.
They are Honest and dont try to lie like other guys. If you want best service for the right price call John Burger.

My experience with Trey Burger and his crew at Heating / Air was excellent. This is a new HVAC install and the price are very reasonable after obtain 3 estimates. They are professional and pleasant to work with. I definitely recommend anyone in needs of HVAC to go see Trey Burger.
