I wanted a second opinion on my AC condenser unit's internal drip needing replacement and/or coil leakage because my AC would turn off after running for an hour due to water in the secondary drip pan hitting the emergency shut off wire. Jay came out and assessed the situation and welcomed my questions as he went about opening up the side of the condenser so we could take a look.

He said he wanted to try cleaning out the drain lines just in case (I told him I cleaned the section after the u shape) with nitrogen and that actually was the issue as to why there was so much water pooling inside the internal drip pan and then overflowing to the secondary pan. He then noticed that there was significant splashback from the air being blown inside the unit. There is another metal flap inside the unit above the drain pan that is supposed to catch this sort of thing but because the metal was raised water was hitting below AND just past the drip pan. So he took a spent Co2 canister and wedged it between the metal plate and the condenser coils so it would stay down , touching the drip pan so water could no longer sneak past the lip of the drip pan. Now the secondary pan is as dry as can be. Which means the AC won't smell when turned out and no sudden stopping of the AC unit.

The price for this work and troubleshooting was incredibly reasonable, plus I learned a lot while chatting and watching Jay work. I look forward to calling them up again in the future for regular maintenance and recommending them to others. Thank you guys!

Jay and Green Planet were great to work with. Unlike other big HVAC companies I spoke with, Jay was very direct and easy to communicate/schedule with. He did a free assessment and was very upfront about my options and what made the most sense. I ended up installing a mini-split as well as replacing my HVAC to a 5-ton heat pump system. The price was very reasonable for the amount of work being done. He brought a big crew of people who did a great job, and the HVAC system works great now. Even after the job was done, he was very responsive to questions I had about the system.

Highly recommend. Jay and his team installed a huge package cooling and heating system on the roof of our new house, and hauled away the old one. Jay is easy to work with and scheduled us in quickly, working around our timing - and the install itself was super quick. Then he returned with his team to optimize the ducts in the house to have the new system running as efficiently as possible - replacing all the ducts in the attic, hauling away the old ones, enlarging the return and some of the air supply registers, and then replacing all registers with new bar-type grills. Again he and his team did an excellent job, they worked fast, and were great to have around! The price was great too!

I was pressed on time and they just delivered ! It took only few days from Jay giving me an estimate to have a whole A/C unit up and running. The whole job took few hours including a crane coming and lifting the old unit from the roof down and lifting the new one up to install.
They are very knowledgeable about the whole A/C , heating systems. They were on time, preformed very clean job and stayed around to make sure the unit is cooling and heating as expected. I will use Green Planet for every project that include A/C and heating unit.

We were looking to replace our 20-year-old rooftop HVAC unit with a new, more efficient unit along with a smart-thermostat upgrade. Green Planet came right out, gave us a competitive quote on the spot, and answered any questions we had about the process and equipment. Two days later, our new unit was installed. The installation team was fantastic. They got the job done quickly with minimal intrusion and no mess -- and that included widening an existing return air vent in the hallway. One of the two owners was present to meet the building inspector a couple of days later, and the inspection passed with flying colors. Jay also quickly responded to a couple of questions we had post-installation. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for HVAC work.

Had a few different quotes as I needed an air conditioning solution, and while all were fair, Jay from Green Planet's was the best in terms of understanding all the required elements and the work that needed to be done. Everything went to plan, and I was kept informed all along the way; they even were able to help navigate some tricky issues and facilitate some other work as well!
