Econo West Heating & Air SB

We were having intermittent issues with our furnace where it would stop heating mid cycle. Our technician Dave was amazing and was able to diagnose the hard to replicate problem. He was extremely knowledgeable and took a methodical approach to fix our furnace without just ordering new expensive parts. I also appreciated his communication and follow-up texts just to make sure everything was resolved. The whole process from scheduling to repair was very refreshing and I highly recommend working with Econo West.

Econo West is the very best outfit around! I had a new tech heating system in one of my apartment units. My tenant was freezing and their team showed up (during the holidays) found the problem and fixed it. The owner even showed up in person, to help diagnose the problem! I won’t ever call anybody else. Dave the owner came over to check out my furnace making a whistling noise under the house.
About 15 minutes later, he came out all dirty, carrying a plastic bag that got sucked into my fan.
We had a nice chat, and when It was all done he told me no charge and have a nice day.

I had a really good experience with Econo West Heating & Air SB. Making an appointment was extremely easy and the technician arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable and trustworthy. He diagnosed the issue in minutes and my repair was taken care of immediately. I wish every vendor/contractor in Santa Barbara was as good as Econo West HVAC. I will definitely be calling again.

I called this morning because the furnace kept turning in and off. Office told me they could come out between 2 and 4pm, Dave the owner was here at 2pm. Looked the unit and told me it was a switch issue and how to fix it next time, because it was so simple he didn't even charge! Great company will definitely use them again when needed and refer them to friends and family.

I contacted Econo West based on the Google Reviews for routine servicing of our gas heater -- and everyone was correct! Their technician, Guillermo, was outstanding! He noticed that a condenser was leaking inside the heater -- and drove all the way to Oxnard & back to obtain & install the new part. Guillermo was very knowledgeable about heaters, and thoroughly explained what the problem was & how he would fix it. Kudos for a job well done!

A prior company took a look at our furnace and said we needed a new one ($3500). I called Econo West and two other companies for second opinions re cost for replacement. Econo West was the first to respond (one gave me an estimate over the phone for about the same and the other never called back). Dave from Econo West came over and took a look. He determined pretty quickly that there was no need to replace. Instead, he fixed the problem in 5 minutes and gave me instructions on how to seal a couple things myself. I'm so appreciative; he saved me $3500. He also gave me an estimate for replacement (when it's eventually needed) that was closer to $3000. I'll be going back to them when it needs replacement (hopefully not for a while yet).

Guillermo was awesome, fast, clear, thoughtful, and helped us understand what was going on with our furnace. We would highly recommend him and Econo West SB.

I called Econo West for duct cleaning, and the office worked fast, and professional. The technician arrived on time and finished fast, he was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was going to do and how it benefited me to get this done. I also signed a maintenance agreement with them to keep my A/C unit in good shape. Its affordable and much more efficient then calling them just when something breaks, they come twice a year to make sure nothing goes wrong.

I received excellent service from Econo West Heating and Air. The technician was knowledgeable and friendly. The service was fast and they didn't drain my wallet.
