Very informative and helpful. Did a great job servicing our system. Helped explain the difference between a “coupon tune-up” and the “Oak Island Club” (I believe that’s what it’s called.) The Oak Island Club is the better deal and they come out twice a year for about $180 and service the furnace and the A/C system. Will probably sign up next Feb. for the club.
4 stars because their “dispatch” had no clue about the companies discounts, programs or that my technician shouldn’t have even been out today to check my A/C system because it was too cold to accurately check the coolant in my system accurately.

I got two AC units installed from this company that I got in touch through Costco. Cris Young, who I believe is the owner, came to my home and convinced a different brand which was a bit costlier. He is a very humble guy and professional. Though my experience with installers was completely different. They did not install one unit where it was decided earlier and convinced me that the previous configurations will not work.
Cris and I met last year for a heater installation and he saw how my AC units were installed and offered me to fix it if I would buy heating system. I haven't bought my heating system but I really wish their installers would have installed those AC units properly.
Now, I have been asked to pay $500 if I want AC unit to be replaced how I wanted it earlier. This is definitely not something any customer should go through and I wish they can correct their mistake. Cris if you are reading this then please work with me and get that AC unit re-installed how we agreed to.

Uriel came to my home on-time.
He performed an annual check up of my hvac system, including filter replacement and provided recommendations to enhance my system. Overall I have been extremely pleased with the meticulous service I received. And Oak Island is a great company, great products and great service. This company and its employees deliver exceptional service and stand behind their products and are extremely knowledgeable on hvac units.

We have a HVAC maintenance contract with Oak Island. Today’s service was for our air conditioning systems. Their service tech Jeff came out this morning during the time slot we were assigned. As has all other Oak Island staff we have seen over the years, Jeff was very polite, pleasant and efficient in his work. We were extremely pleased with how he conducted himself and with his explanations of work completed and other proposed preventive measures. We have been with Oak Island since 2019 when they installed new units for us due to a house fire. Even thru early Covid, they managed to service us with added protocols for us as well as themselves. We were satisfied and confident then and now. Thank you!

If you’ve ever had any doubts on using a maintenance plan/service because you couldn’t find a good company or tech… Oak Island should be your choice. Our latest technician Uriel was great!!!

We are very happy we went with Oak Island to install our new heating and air conditioning system for our 2 story home with separate Google Nest learning thermometers to control the temps on each floor. Everything about the process was professional from the initial consult with the company who took down our information then scheduled a site inspection for the bid and sent multiple reminders via text, email and phone. Austin showed up as promised, did a through inspection of our current heating/ac systems, explained all the product options throughly and then prepared a very through bid on site based on what we wanted. There were no hidden fees in the bid, no urging us to buy something we didn’t need or wouldn’t add value to our home. There was something so refreshing and transparent about this process that we accepted the bid right then and we were scheduled for install a week later. As promised. we received text, email and phone reminders. Osiel and his crew (3 in total) arrived on time, were extremely professional and friendly, respected our home inside and out, came with everything they needed to do the job and protect our flooring, asked me to approve everything as they installed things and finished in the timeframe they had said, leaving everything clean. Osiel made sure everything was working perfectly and spent time to train me on the Nest system, showing me the dual floor system was working perfectly in each room and the air conditioner in the back yard was strapped down, and quiet, as promised. The new heater required the removal of a couple pieces of molding to get it through the attic access and a drywall repair person was scheduled through Oak Island before Osiel left to come out to make the repair at a date of our convenience. I have no doubts the repair will be made with the same level of professionalism. The final HERS inspection process was explained by Osiel and so far everything is scheduled for that as promised and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend this company if you live in North County San Diego!

Very professional , polite service man Yuriel, very thorough and attentive to answer my concerns , helped to change the battery for my fire alarm as a bonus help since he could reach w his ladder . It makes me trust Oak Island Company to have excellent help. He also wore shoes covers so that it protected my floors and not drag in the dirt into the house - very considerate policy! Thank you for the excellent service !

Arturo Rivera the HVAC tech from Oak Island was on time and was able to diagnose and repair the problem quickly! He had the necessary equipment and parts to fix the problem! He explained the problem and solution and recommended future care to keep the equipment running properly and to extend its life. We now have Air Conditioning back in operation blowing cold air!
