Tech showed up on time and was polite. Gave me a $2500 repair estimate on HVAC and then a $18000 replacement estimate. I did receive discounts bringing the estimate down to 13k. The estimate itself was vague with no details about labor costs or pricing for equipment I asked for more details and was shown a word document showing approximately 12k for equipment another 2K for inspections and $680 for labor cost. Clearly they make money on overpricing the AC and Heater units because you can’t pay an employee and make money on $680. This pricing was for the least efficient system

This is a small condo (under 900 square feet unit). I can’t imagine what they would charge for a 2500 square foot home.

Just wanted to follow up about pricing. I just had a new HVAC installed. A Carrier family system for a total cost of just under $7000.00, permits included.

Shop around and look for a small to medium sized company for estimates Camino / Hi Tech was the company I used and received exceptional customer service.

We are long time ASI customers and were delighted to have Justin H. conduct our recent heater service. He was prompt, extremely thorough and took time to be sure we understood all our options. He answered all questions and did an extraordinary job. Thank you Justin!

Christian took the time to explain to me why my heater was behaving as it was. He gave me repair options to choose from and explained in detail what each option would mean to the longevity of my heating unit and the cost. He was very polite and patient and answered all of my concerns and questions. Thank you for the great service!

Great customer service by ASI technician who declared my garbage disposal dead and recommended replacement with same kind. He quoted the replacement including labor and with my assent booked it for next day. Couldn’t ask for better.

I had a hot water pipe leaking under my house in the crawlspace and called ASI on Thursday March 23. ASI plumber came out on Friday the 24th and determined he couldn't fix the leak until the standing water was removed and hot water was shut off. Saturday the water was pumped out, plumber was notified but he did not show up. Called ASI on Monday the 27th, the original plumber had called in sick so a new plumber was scheduled to come out Tuesday. The new plumber showed up, looked at the problem and quoted me a price of $895 to fix the leak (he replaced a 6" length of copper pipe, and I assisted him by shutting the hot water off and on and then bled the pipes) and when I protested the extreme price, he said the price was so high because of the location in the crawlspace and the 2 angles in the pipe. The pipe is located approximately 7 feet from the crawlspace access point and it took him less than 30 minutes to replace the pipe. The 2nd plumber took advantage of my not having hot water for 4 days and quoted a ridiculously high price to fix the problem rather than me trying to find another plumber for a more reasonable price and risk prolonging the loss of hot water. I will never use ASI again and will not recommend this company. Buyer beware.

UPDATE
I am following up on my original post from yesterday March 29th. A representative from ASI contacted me today to discuss the specifics of the work done under my house. He determined that the conditions and location of the problem in the crawlspace didn't warrent charging extra so he significantly reduced my bill. That's the kind of good customer service that brings me back to team ASI! I also want to give kudos to the plumbers who work in what can sometimes be dirty, difficult conditions.

ASI recommendation came from a neighbor who uses them regularly. I was extremely impressed with Cain, our assigned plumber, to fix a clogged pipe from the kitchen. He was above and beyond professional, courteous and patient. I subsequently signed up for an account with ASI. They are remarkable!

Gene, the drain tech with ASI, was outstanding! He solved the problem with the main drain line and gave me some very useful suggestions for preventive maintenance.

Should I need similar service in the future, ASI and Gene will be my go-to.

I live in a manufactured home with piping that is different from that of a regular home, condo or apartment.

I heartily recommend ASi and Gene if you are in a similar situation.

Have an older furnace that had stopped working. Had already called a technician from a different company but he could not figure out what the problem was. A neighbor recommended ASI. I called them and Technician Thomas M came by about five days later. Thomas first went into the attic to inspect the furnace itself, which he found to be in good working order, and then did some troubleshooting with the thermostat, which he found to be defective. He did not have a compatible thermostat in truck that day, but came back two days later with one to install. Installing the thermostat into a plaster wall required care and attention and he was very careful and meticulous in his work. Throughout both visits Thomas was extremely professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. He was also very generous with his time in answering questions. Before both appointments I received reminder texts from ASI as well as calls from Thomas saying he was on his way. He was always on time, even a bit early the second visit. Cost of the service was very reasonable. In short, I was very impressed with the competence and courtesy of Thomas M as a technician and, as a result, with the service I received from ASI. I would definitely call ASI again.

I wish I could add another review as editing an older one just does not do justice to this company.
I had Matthew Wickham here for a leak. He was extremely knowledgeable and did not try to cut corners. I felt it could be done easier but he said I would not take a shortcut on my house and we will not take a shortcut on yours.
I am getting tired of writing 5 Star reviews.
I saw a few issues about price but I find them very competitive. If someone is cheaper there is usually a reason. When your employees are the best in the business you might pay them a few bucks more but that means you get people working on your house that do not cut corners.

I started doing business with this company about 10 years ago. I had an old gas heating unit and our ducts were the original 30 years old. We got several estimates ASI being one.
I was impressed right from the start and actually called an spoke to Phil.
They went out of their way to explain the benefits of each unit and since we did not have air conditioning they put a plan together to put the best unit in and replaced the ducts.
They also came up with an option no one suggested. Our heater was in a large closet next to the kitchen and Phil said we could move the unit to the attic and you could turn that into a kitchen pantry. My wife loved that. I asked how much he said if it helps we will throw it in.
Some review say their prices are not the lowest but every AC model they used was superior to the low ball price. They are very competitive and give the best quality and service.

The job was outstanding and they kept adding option like upgrade screen even changes all the vent covers.

I signed up for their service plan and like clock work they call to do a tune up
I used them for solar and plumbing and highly recommended them.
If we have an issue they call right back and within hours someone is knocking at our door.

This company has been here for 70 plus years and because of their great service it is easy to say they will be here for 70 more

Do not worry about the rest call ASI they are the best
