I made the appointment on Thursday afternoon. Miguel showed up on Friday afternoon to evaluate the situation. He determined he did not have the necessary supplies and committed to come back on Monday morning. He returned on Monday morning and quickly determined that he had procured the wrong parts. He left to procure the correct parts, leaving all of the water in my home, turned off. He was gone for literally five minutes. But he had the correct pieces and he completed the repair. (So he said)
I thought about asking him why he didn’t procure the part in five minutes on Friday afternoon so I wouldn’t have been without the shower all weekend, and I wouldn’t have to deal with a second visit, but I let it go.
I was more concerned, that he did not put all of the decorative trim back on the faucet handle. Miguel ores before leaving that it “took a long time for hot water to come to the fixture.” It normally takes 20 to 30 seconds, but I didn’t think anything of it at the time. I was directed not to use the shower that had been repaired for 24 hours.
After waiting more than a day, I turned the shower on to use it. I immediately noticed two things. First, you could not turn it all the way on to the point where hot water would come out. The water never got beyond lukewarm. Second, the faucet handle was practically falling off. Maybe I’m a little picky, but both of these things should’ve been. readily apparent to a plumber that cared about his work.
I called customer service. They told me that they would send the same plumber. Back to fix it. I asked that a different plumber be dispatched because I was not impressed with his work the first time. I was super clear about that. Five minutes later the original plumber called me to find out what the problem was. Obviously it was very uncomfortable because I had to tell him that I didn’t want him to come back and I thought he did a poor job the first time. His reaction was to chuckle and say, “oh, it sounds like it just needs to be adjusted.” That’s probably true, but why didn’t he make those adjustments before he left on Monday? In other words, his careless attitude was exactly the reason I didn’t want him to come back.
I called customer service again, got a different person which is not a surprise since it’s a call center that you’re dealing with. The new person told me that the original plumber was still scheduled to come out and fix the problem.
As a customer, I knew that the problem was probably easily fixed, but from a customer service perspective nobody seemed to be listening to me or care about my concerns. They pushed back and told me that they “liked to give their people a chance to correct their mistakes. My preference is that they send a qualified plumber that cares about the work and takes the basic steps to get the repair right the first time. If I wanted a plumber in training, I would expect to pay a lot less.
I’m wasting another day at home, waiting for a plumber to show up and fix something that could’ve easily been dealt with two visits ago.

We had a ping hole leak that went undetected for some time. Jesse came in, identified the issue and started work. He quickly found that we had a slew of other problems. For one, mold has started to grow. He immediately stopped work, communicated the problem to me, and arranged for a consult with a restoration company and environmental cleanup service. Jesse remained engaged throughout the restoration process and cleanup and ultimately resolved the plumbing issue in no time at all once everything was exposed. Jesse was extraordinarily professional and competent and his communication skills were exceptional.
If Anderson employees are even a fraction as successful as Jesse, they’ve earned a life long customer.

Anderson provides excellent service at a reasonable price in my opinion. We had a new HVAC unit installed at our place, and while some companies made a big deal about getting up on my townhome roof, with Anderson it's simply been a matter of asking them to bring an extension ladder. They're often able to get the job done without multiple trips.
