I called today because we lost all power to our ac unit. They were able to come the same day and when they were running late they called to let me know. Ruben was awesome! He took his time to figure out what was wrong and fixed it. We are so appreciative of his time and the care he took to do it right! I will be using them again for all our heating and AC needs!

Estimate on new furnace/AC unit received within one day. Installation scheduled within one week and installed in less than a day. System works perfectly and installers were professional and very neat. The total cost was quite reasonable. Referred to me by a neighbor who was equally happy with their job.

I called Richards September 8 around 9:30 AM. I spoke with Kailyn(sp?)
A tenant in our rental property called on the seventh and said the air conditioning was not working. I called a friend that works for Air-conditioning company and he was going to get to the property sometime that day. That didn’t happen he didn’t call and he didn’t let us know that he wasn’t coming. That’s when I called Richards.
The temperature of those two days was almost 100°. I was very concerned because their two children and an elderly family member who had surgery living there at the time.
Kailyn Informed me that they were totally booked with service calls that day but she was concerned too because of the children living there so she made an extra effort to see if there was some way they could get us in that day but she was thinking it might not be till the next morning. She checked again and maybe moved things around I don’t know but she said your tech will be there by 10:30 within an hour of my call.
I am so Grateful for her Persistence and help.
The technician Al fixed the problem right away and I was happy with the fair cost.

Olim arrived at the appointed time. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had the parts on his truck. He was very knowledgeable and soon had the system back up and running. The charges were very reasonable and I signed up for the semi-annual maintenance to address any problems in the future.

This was my first time using Richard’s. I was very impressed. Joe showed up on the early side of the time window! He was super friendly, knowledgeable and even showed me how to perform maintenance so my air conditioner continues to run properly. If I need repair again I’ll call Richard’s and ask for Joe!!

Olim has attended the house twice now. He is punctual, polite, professional and friendly.
I appreciate the fact that all of the engineers that work for Richards are clean, tidy, wear shoe protectors, and are covid safe.

We have chosen Richards heating and AC to replace and move our furnace to the attic. We have done extensive research and got a quite a few quotes, but at the end, what made us make up our minds and choose Richards - is the way we were not pressured into agreement, but rather given time to make our own choice and were given quite honest feedback and explanations for how to choose best furnace/ AC combo to meet our needs. Its rarely when company takes time to thoroughly explain pros and cons about different models so we could understand our options.
We were scheduled for work pretty fast and are very happy with the way crew did their work. Jose, Cole and Olim were very professional and accommodative. Arrived on time and always cleaned everything up at the end of the day. We are very pleased with the results: much quieter furnace and perfect flow from air registers.

Great service, again. Mr Rodriguez was very knowledgeable, polite, arrived on time, was very thorough and very efficient. The bill wasn’t too bad. I’m so glad I found about Richard’s Heating and Air. Highly recommended!

Richard's is a long trusted, reliable contractor for all HVAC servcices. I hhave a client who is purchasing a home with an older system. They came out, went through the whole system, provided estimates for further necessary repairs, and even provided a quote for relocation of the furnace. All done on time and totally professional. I highly recomend.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. Terrible. I had an AC problem and when I called I explained the situation and where the AC unit was on the building and that there was no stair well or ladder on the side of the building. I wanted to be clear about that when scheduling it so that I wouldn't waste anyone's time. I have had someone come out here before from a different business and use their ladder to get to the roof where the condenser is. During the intense east bay summer heat, I thought I was going to get some relief. Nope. They come out and tell me that it isn't safe for the exact reason that I explained to them in the first place! Well, they should have told me that when I tried to schedule the service call. They showed no respect to my time.
