The team at smarter attic cleaned/ sanitized out our attic , removed old insulation and sealed (rodent proofed) our attic as well as installed new blown in insulation. They arrived on time and completed the work within their estimated time frame. The price was very fair compared to quotes I got from other companies for the same services. I like that they are a local company providing a better customer service experience. I would recommend giving them a call if you need this work done on your house.

The crew from Smarter Attic arrived on time, answered our questions, and worked efficiently and quickly to do a great job on our whole house insulation. We would definitely recommend them to anyone with insulation needs. Andrew was quick to respond to our inquiries and customer service was excellent.

My daughter called to say that the heater was not working in the house she is renting from us. She has a 3 year old and a 5 month old who has respiratory issues due to complications from birth. The temperature was supposed to drop into the 30's over the weekend. Being that it was Friday, I had no hope that I would find someone to come out that day.

I looked up all the heating places in the Manteca area and Smarter Attic just stood out to me. I told myself, If the person that answers the phone is genuine about trying to assist me I will go with this company.
I made the call and was greeted by a nice lady. She was explaining that they were booked for the day however since I stated that their was a baby in the house she asked me to hold on. After a brief moment she stated that she could fit me in! Her heart and compassion really showed to me. Not only because she fit me in that day but more so because she she listened and cared. I thought this is the company for me!

Later that day, the technician called me to say that he finished some jobs early and could come to my house earlier than planned. The technician was also amazing! He was polite, educated and thorough! He figured out my issue and called me to explain everything! During this visit, they discovered another issue and within 15 minutes I had another technician on site!
Great customer service! Great people! I will certainly continue to use this company for all my needs in addition to telling everyone about this company. The best part was receiving a picture of my smiling family very warm and comfy with a peace of mind. I cannot thank you enough!

We decided to have our insulation replaced after our home inspection pointed to a possible issue with rodent droppings. We had a pest company come and do a further inspection. Inspector noted the droppings and runs on the insulation created by rodents. Thankfully, we didn't have any active infestations but at some point in the history of the home there was a problem. We were not comfortable leaving the attic as it was and decided to have the attic cleaned out. We had a verbal quote from someone the pest company knew, but we decided to call someone we found online that had many 5 star reviews, after that didn’t work out because owner did not follow through, we decided to do more research about insulation. On the search we found a video on Smarter Attic, we quickly looked them up and decided to give them a call. The office staff that answered the phone was clear about what the next steps would be and was able to answer some insulation questions I had. She set up a free estimate appointment for the next day, I felt so relieved after talking to her that I looked forward to our appointment as we wanted to have the work done before our move in date. The next day David showed up on time, we showed him the way to the attic and he did his evaluation and estimate before he left. We felt David was honest and didn’t seem pushy or have that “salesman” speak. He was straightforward with the info and estimate. The day of the job the techs arrived early and were ready to start the work. We met Nico (awesome good guy) and got a feeling he and the team would do a great job. It took them a few hours to remove insulation, sanitize and seal all air gaps in attic and outside leading up to attic for rodent proofing. After they were done Nico shared some pictures of what they found (a couple of old dead rodents), we’re so glad we had this service done! The pictures also showed the duct work was damaged by rodents, so we decided to replace our ducts, too. Both owners at separate times came later that afternoon to check on the work being done, they were not micromanaging rather they wanted to check in with us and their staff on the job being done. As an added service, David arranged for their HVAC guy Joe (sharp, articulate, and skilled), to check our floor furnace, because we expressed interests in having it checked as we did not know if it was in working condition. There was a small fee to test it but I had no idea they did HVAC, and heating , too. At the end of the day we decided to hold off on putting new insulation back because we were having some electrical work checked. In between that time we found out our home had three other areas not in the attic that needed to be cleaned out as well, so we scheduled for a clean out of those areas on the same day we scheduled for the insulation to be blown back in. Again Nico and his team were on time and ready to work and provided the same high level of service as the first time they came out. Once they were done Joe turned on the A/C to test the air, and wow, it was crisp, and clean coming out of the vents. Also, while on his lunch he went out of his way to pick up an air filter for our HVAC because after his inspection he found that it was missing. A few days before our insulation blow in appointment our contractor went up the attic to check on something he needed for a project, I followed behind and took a peak inside, I was surprised of how fresh smelling and clean the attic looked. My contractor was also impressed by their work. Overall, these guys go far and above to do a great job, and provide great service!

Great service for AC filter replacement maintenance as it’s not always easy access to furnace in attic.

Added drip pan sensor, the quote was 7 months ago and they still honored the same cost estimate, big plus in my book.

Only regret is that I didn’t find them sooner.

Smarter Attic contacted their technician and I promptly received a call back and a time that he could be here .
Sonny was the technician he asked all the questions when he arrived and performed a thorough inspection on the entire unit and found a couple minor issues that did not even require replacement parts saving us what could have been a big chunk of money .
Sonny also represents the company in the most professional manner.
I myself am in the construction industry and it’s really good to see some of the younger generation proud of the work they do and show the pride .

Joe was my technician. He was professional, friendly and knowledgable. He explained what the problem was, how it became a problem and what he did to repair it. I would recommend Smarter Attic to anyone and will call them the next time I need my system repaired or serviced.

I had a A/C maintenance done. I was advised when technician was on way (which time frame fell into the initial window I was given)
Technician was professional, fast and honest. I was a little low on freon (which is normal for a 15 year old unit) the price was reasonable and my AC is still working great. I strongly recommend this company.

Got my AC working again. After 2 months of dealing with other HVAC companies and a nonfunctional AC during the summer, Smarter Attic found that one of the other companies had removed caps causing my Freon to leak out and had completely disconnected my heating. Everything works fine after Smarter Attic came and looked at it!
