Air conditioning went out during the 90+ degree heatwave late on a Wednesday night. Called our home insurance and the contractor they assigned me to wasn't available for 8 days due to backlog. I called on Thursday and asked the insurance to assign me another and they hooked me up with Adam at Metropolitan. He called immediately and said he could be at my house in 30 minutes. True to his word he arrived with a mask and socially distanced. Very professional and in less than 20 minutes he replaced my capacitator and air conditioning was keeping our family cool. Murphy's law, my thermostat randomly went out two days later and on a whim texted Adam to see if he could address the issue and he immediately texted back late on a Sunday night and said he would come out the next day. I can't recall any service I have had that was this responsive, respectful, and reliable. Ask for Adam, you won't be disappointed.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have a Home Warranty Policy and had them come out to look at our AC unit. They replaced a small part and took my $100. Two days later the AC unit isn't working. Called several times and they promised to get back to me. A week later they tell me they won't come out, even though I have confirmation from Home Warranty Company there is an open working order. I asked about my $100 and she said too bad.

We just had Adam out to fix our Air Conditioner through AHS. Our time window for service was between 10-2. He arrived at 10:20, was professional, courteous and polite. He diagnosed the problem with in 15 minutes. Repaired the capacitor and now the unit works once again. I was so hesitant after reading the reviews, but am pleasantly surprised that all seems to have gone well and fingers crossed my air conditioner will work great this summer.

I had Adam out to diagnose my air conditioner via AHS. He was very nice and on time but that won't fix my air conditioner. He noted the wiring was bad and shorted out the compressor. He said the compressor is so old its not worth fixing and should be replaced. He then told us the wiring was chewed by household pets. We told him that was not possible because there are no household pets that go on that patio. Its a very small enclosed cement patio for a condo. He reported this to AHS anyway and they denied our repair. So unfair to not listen to the homeowner.

The company was sent to me by AHS. Metropolitan sent their technician Adam to address my issues. He was totally professional, very likable, and diagnosed and fixed my problem almost instantly. I would definitely use this company again to address my HVAC issues

Both my experiences with Metro have been great. Adam is really awesome. Professional and courteous! Within 4 months I had two different problems w my AC. They came out the day after I called. It was 108 degrees in Irvine last week when my AC failed. So they were really busy, but they expedited my service. Thank you Metropolitan.

We had an appointment on a Friday. I could not be home. Hence, my wife called them on Thursday to let them know that I CANNOT be reached and to call her b/c it will be her home anyway. Well, they didn't even get that right. The tech asserted that there was nothing wrong (although the AC would not cool as efficiently as it did the last time it was charged with Freon). Also, I tried talking to the guy on the phone to explain what the issue with the thermostat was. He just kept talking over me. I got frustrated and he actually told my wife he couldn't talk to me. Per my wife, he was not polite at all and was very hard to understand. Will not be calling this company.

Hottest day of the year and the house is heating up. I thought it was the back door. I was wrong. I called Metropolitan and ADAM was right there when I needed him, and in a mask. I thought for sure this was a big deal. He was professional and very polite and so helpful. He showed me the problem and it was a quick fix. He had the part it needed and all fixed so quick. My AC is blowing cool again and we are all happy.
If I could give 10 stars I would. Great job, honest, friendly, and I RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE.

After having two, very reputable HVAC companies, tell me there is a serious problem with my furnace after they were tuning up my HVAC, I wanted to service my furnace through my home warranty. The two other, highly reviewed companies both told me that the pilot fire from the furnace was not appropriately going where it needed to go and that even a part of the metal was cracked due to this problem. The two reputable companies told me it needed to be fixed ASAP because of the danger of a house fire.
So I went through my warranty, American Home Shield, and had Metropolitan come and service my furnace . They initially said there is nothing wrong. I explained them what the two other companies told me and the tech said the two companies were just trying to gouge me. They told me that it would only be a problem if any of the metal was cracked. After their checkup of the the furnace and saying everything was fine, I had to show them the crack in the metal. This proved to them that there is something wrong with the furnace. They took the cracked metal, and told me they would replace it and fix the pilot light another day.
Today they came and replaced the metal that was cracked, which was basically just treating the symptom and not the actual problem. They told me that they did their job and to sign some papers. I told them that their tech would also fix the pilot light problem, but he said there is nothing wrong with it. I calmly told the tech I did not feel comfortable signing because the actual problem was not fixed and that it should be fixed before signing the papers. I was just worried of the risk of my house burning down and my family be in danger because of it, especially after two different, very reputable and highly reviewed companies assessed and diagnosed the SAME problem.
The tech just walked away and was yelling at me and got into his car and left. I never NEVER had this type of customer service. I would steer clear from this company. I rarely write bad reviews of companies, but this is by the far the worst company I've ever dealt with.

This is the worst company I have dealt with. My home owners warranty has sent them out twice and both time the service was horrible. So, the first time they came out the tech mumbled that thr cost to repair the AC unit is more then the fee. The next thing I hear from the warranty company (American Home Shield) is that the AC isn't working because there are sprinklers around it. I complain and they come back out. This time the guy says he can't look at the AC because there is something wrong with the fuse cover. His solution is $250 in parts plus labor. I findfind part on eBay for $6.99 while he is there and fix the issue in a few minutes. He ckmco back out a year later, spends 5 min there and again blames sprinklers.
