this is scam company working with AHS. the agent came to my house then he wrote a report that work was done on this AC last summer even though during his visit he told me the unit is the original unit and nothing was done on the unit and it needs to be replaced. but on the report he lied so now AHS says well your claim is denied because the agent said something was done last summer. i don't even know how he came p with the timeline last summer. but this how they operate. they work based on the AHS service fee then write false report to deny the claim then on to the next customer. this company and AHS work together so beware !!

FRAUD. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Went through warranty company and was assigned them and they just come out take a look for 10-15 minutes and call it a exiting condition... STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUD OF A COMPANY.

I would give this negative stars if I can... Worst EVER!!!

AC compressor was not coming on and American Home Shield scheduled Metropolitan. Adam came out and replaced the parts that he diagnosed to be the problem and my AC was back up and running within 20 minutes…..Great Service!!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
The technician who came first time told that I have to just replace filter, no other issue was detected which was a lie in first place. Just because I did not want to purchase an over priced filter ($150) from them they did not want to fix anything else, from Lowes I got it for $24.
However, after I replaced the filter, as I expected, that did not fix the AC, then second technician arrived after 15 days (after repeated followup). This time the technician checked thoroughly and found out the faulty coil which needed to be replaced. I asked him specifically about refrigerant and he said that it has no issue, it is still full. Later when they submitted the report to my home warranty company it was reported that 8lb refrigerant needs to be added costing $1040. This is such an outright lie and hurting the customer.
I am never going back to this company again, my home warranty company now assigned a 2nd vendor.
I waited entire summer to get my AC fixed but this vendor completely RUINED MY SUMMER! SO FRUSTRATED!!

The technician seemed pretty friendly at first but were numerous issues we wanted checked out including ducts not receiving air, air quality poor, temps not reached, fan abruptly shutting off. Tech ignored most queries and abruptly stated midway his routine it "wasn't even worth to look at it further", seemed odd.

I being polite, presumed it meant it was so abundantly obvious he clearly knew the issue already from a 3 minute inspection instead of looking at all parts. And suddenly he kept insisting we needed a new pair of units without checking the fan, ducts, compressor, or capacitators and lines and inside the house! He just fixated and kept remarking on the exterior condenser coils looking worn (my limited powers don't control weather)

He conveniently omits his findings and avoids stating any issue to remedy/repair- or giving a summary report- anything. Instead he just kept insisting we needed a new pair of units due to their age and normal wear/tear. In his report sent to the company it says old condenser coil were destroyed by non-existent sprinklers. Convenient. Waste of 100 bucks, have to pay again to get a real HVAC company to fully check all the parts and issues.

Would never hire, even if through warranty demand to get some other company.

so thankful that I found this company. They were sent by AHS and after many frustrations with other AC heating companies. Adam came to check my AC and tested for leaks and said another person would come by a day after. Nas came by a day after and OMG fixed the AC in no time! like magic my AC works great after many other companies came by and didn't do anything and tried to up sell me on stuff.I am truly lucky because I was one hairline away from giving up completely and resigning to the fact I need a whole new system but thankfully Adam and Nas figured out the problem and fixed it.
This company is: professional, responsive, skilled, the employees in the office and who came to my house amazingly professional and genuinely caring.
they worked in this scortching heat and I just can't describe how happy I am they were picked by my insurance. They figured out and fixed what other companies could not fix.
thank you guys for your good work and care. You did all this work in terrible hot weather with a kind smile and just wonderful demeanor.

Horrible! AHS, our HomeProtevtion Company had sent an item in need of being replaced to them by mistake and Anabelle never said anything, making us wait one month looking for it, many calls to AHS, till we found out. Second occassion she lied saying she had sent the work order to AHS gor approval, but when we callled AHS, they did not have it.
I don't understand why Homeprotection Companies use unreliable contractors

I was taken back reading the terrible reviews regarding this company, as they have been terrific. Our AC went out and our insurance sent Metropolitan Air out to fix the issue. We have a smart home and not the easiest house to diagnose, but they found our problem and fixed it. They kept in communication with us and were very honest and fair. Daniel was extremely professional and the customer service that helped us schedule were also great. Unfortunately our insurance wouldn't cover our wiring problem, but we are happy to have it fixed. I would recommend them to anyone experiencing an AC issue. They really know what they are doing and their customer service is great.

AHS sent them to me. Our AC broke down during a heat wave (don't they all:) We were leaving for vacation, but would be leaving our sons behind. They worked with us to schedule an appt. In a timely manner. Nass showed up on time, was very professional and quick to resolve the problem. He also saw a spot on our Ac that needed added screws to keep the cool air from escaping. He not only repaired our problem, but did the extra touches to make our AC run as smoothly as possible. Very satisfied. I recommend this company.

Run, just run. Without a doubt this is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I would give them negative stars if at all possible. Check my profile - I love giving positive reviews to companies that deserve them.
The fan on my ac unit stopped blowing. I called my home warranty and they sent out Metropolitan. We had to wait a few days for an open appointment, which was fine, and they seemed to fix things but the next day the problem was back. Repeat this FIVE TIMES and we are still without a working ac unit, 3 weeks later. Plus, due to this company being incompetent and not figuring out the problem - we have thousands of dollars of water damage from the leaking ac unit. Please do yourself a favor and if you get assigned this company through your home warranty, refuse their service and ask for another company to be sent out. The problem still is not fixed but the home warranty has decided to send us another company, one which will hopefully be able to do their jobs properly. This company should not be in service - just horrible!
