HVAC Inspections Los Angeles

All around a positive experience. We had been looking for an HVAC company to help us with 2 previously installed systems upstairs & down. We were very unhappy with another company who I won't mention...(however other company has strong marketing with vans etc., are extremely overpriced & very pushy. WE had just installed a new upstairs unit only 4 years prior, paid a lot & it was not working correctly. Come to find out they sold us a wrong size & even installed wrong )
We got a referral from a friend for this company. Contacted Matt Alba & got an immediate call back & free consultation appointment. He came out & did a thorough inspection, pictures & all. We got his estimate back very quickly & called him to discuss. Matt thoroughly explained what he found. Matt took a lot of time on the phone with us to go over everything.
Meantime we got 3 other estimates. These other companies came out & did not nearly spend as much time & effort to inspect. Their diagnosis' varied vs. Matt. As we learned more about HVAC with our own research, we were the most comfortable with what Matt explained to us, & also we felt his pricing was very fair for what he was offering to do vs. the other companies.
We had 2 systems installed. They came out exactly on dates discussed, and the amount of time it took to do the job was what we were told from Matt. The guys who worked on this were Mario, Angel, Peter & Felipe. They were awesome. Great friendly & super professional. Answered any questions we had .They thoroughly cleaned up after the job, which was great!!!!

Matthew Alba just completed an HVAC inspection on a home that I am currently in escrow to purchase. I am a Realtor, so I engage with HVAC professionals all the time. Quite simply, Matthew displayed a level of knowledge, creative solutions and professionalism considerably higher than any other HVAC inspector/contractor than I have ever worked with. And I have worked with many. During the inspection, Matthew explained the important points as he was conducting his inspection. Instead of simply describing the issue, he brought me to where it was happening so I could see and fully understand it. The follow up report Matthew was also superior. It contained 3 sections: 1) Description of all issues/recommendations, 2) dropbox link to photos illustrating the issues, complete with descriptive captions, 3) Estimate for services. The report was perhaps the most impressive. Many HVAC inspector/contractors I've worked with give me nothing more than a hand scribbled estimate. These 3 elements worked together to identify, illustrate & provide solid solutions. Matthew is a breath of fresh air in this business. I give him my highest recommendation.
