What a positive and professional team. The phone call to set up the appointment to fix my A/C unit was easy and positive. The expert A/C repair man was quick and efficient and friendly and communicative. My AC was fixed in an hour, and I am set for a summer of Sacramento heat! I would recommend this company to everyone if they need their heater/AC worked on!

I have worked with Absolute a number of times with several properties. This Company is far and away the best. They are responsive, have great customer service and the techs are all well schooled and great guys. I always enjoy talking to Jennifer, the Customer Service advisor, she understands our needs and is all over it. Thanks !

My last post was 3 years ago and it was 5 stars - It still is 5 Stars!! I have 5 homes that Absolute Comfort service for me along with 3 commercial buildings.These guys are top notch. I wish I could say more about how they are prompt, communicate very well (almost too well) and really understand the HVAC systems. On all 8 of these properties, there are at least 6 different types of system, some heat pump, some standard HVAC and various brands and locations in the buildings. They have always found reslution to our problems and are very competetively priced. I have used other "Big name" companies in the past and these folks are the best. I know that parts are more difficult to acquire these days but they always seem to find what it needed and if they cannot source something, they let me know.

3/23 - We had a commercial water heater go out and it was going to take quite a while to get it repaired so I thought - maybe this is something the Heating/Air guys can handle because it works just like a gas furnace. Sure enough - they sent Steven out and he replaced a pilot assembly and "Yes!! hot water again" Cannot say enough good things about these guys!

We have used Absolute Comfort company for several years and recommend them always. Dave Rankin and his team most recently installed a wall-mounted Fujitsu HVAC system at our weekend home in the Sierra foothills. It works great and we are once again very pleased by their work. You will be pleased also.

We're super happy with having them as our HVAC company! They were on time, honest with what our system needed, fairly priced, and went the extra mile cleaning and maintaining our HVAC unit.

I never leave reviews but our experience was so bad I wanted others to be forewarned. If I could give them 0 or negative stars I would & I will tell everyone I know to stay FAR AWAY from them! Initially they were quick to schedule. The first HVAC tech (Derek I think?) was courteous, diagnosed the problem quickly and let us know what the next steps were. We received call a week later to set the return appointment. The same technician came out and said he wasn't sure why the office scheduled us because the part wasn't in yet and left. We received another call to set the appt 1 week away in a 10-12 arrival window, as the part was scheduled to be delivered the day before. That morning the office person Amanda called to ask if we could move the appointment up to 8-10. I said yes. By 10:30 nobody arrived so I called them back and she said oh I forgot to move you up but you are still on for 10-12. At 12:30 a different tech arrived (Joe I think?). He said the office told him 12:30-2:30 was my appt time. Later that night I noticed the carpets outside the air vent near the floorboards in the hallway had become damp. It proceeded to get worse over the weekend. It spread to the bedroom and started soaking. We called Monday. Wednesday Amanda called us to schedule but did not have an appointment for another week. We mentioned that the tech had somehow messed something up because our floors were soaked and we shouldn't be waiting until next week to fix their own error. She said she was just the messenger and could only schedule what was open on the board. I was in disbelief. My home may become uninhabitable as mold can grow in wet carpet within 24 hours. I said maybe we will have to contact an attorney because I think we're going to be flooded out by then based on how it has worsened each day. She said I don't have to take this from you and hung up on me! Surprise! 30 minutes later someone else called and said we can get someone out there today. Fingers crossed all goes well. I will update if so.

Absolute comfort is great. Really, you cannot go wrong working with this company. They really go above and beyond and are super friendly - your best friend in the air conditioning business. I had them install a whole new system in my home (after talking with like 5 different contractors) and I love it. But, more than that, they have an amazing work ethic and will give you the truth.

We hired Absolute Comfort heating and air to replace a compressor. They are an excellent company. I noticed them because of their good reviews on other sites. The other company who installed our heating and air system in 2004 really only wanted to sell me a new full system. I wanted the old one fixed because the system has many more years of life left. When I called Dave at Absolute Comfort heating and air he got back to me back promptly, listened to my description of the problem, and made a quick verbal bid to replace the compressor. A couple days later they were out with the new compressor - an exact Carrier (Copeland Scroll) replacement for the original. The technician Steve did the work. Very skilled technician. I watched a little and with what I know about AC (I still have an EPA certificate to work on automotive AC), I could see he was doing everything the right way, and he had the right equipment to do the work. Everyone in the house slept all night last night for the first time in months because the AC was so quiet. If you are looking for a company to work on your AC, I highly recommend this company. The price was reasonable, the technical work superb, and the customer service outstanding. Their office manager Jennifer was quite pleasant to work with also. Thank you .

I have nothing but great things to say about Dave and his team! My AC went out on me during the hottest week in Sac and I couldn’t get a technician to come out for at a minimum of 5 days! Luckily I found Absolute Comfort and from the moment I spoke with Jennifer, I knew I was in great hands. They were able to squeeze me in, in between customers and I will forever be grateful! Jennifer was a rockstar on the customer service side and Dave the technician was amazing. If you want real, honest, hard working people call Absolute! You will not regret it!

Our fan motor went out Monday. We called yesterday and they had someone out here this morning. Steve, the technician, was polite, professional and informative. We are very pleased with the service. Would definitely recommend Absolute Comfort Heating and Air.
