Crooks!
My home warranty service called them on Friday. They showed up and said the water heater was still under warranty and they would get the part. On Tuesday P.M they let me know that the part will take one week to come from Rheem (the water heater manufacturer) and rather than have me suffer without any hot water, they will install a new water heater.
I called another plumber who is not part of the home warranty program, he came and fixed the problem in one hour and charged me $280.
These people are dishonest and they made me suffer with no hot water for over 5 days. Hope they go out of business!

my home insurance company paid downey plumbing to come fix my leak under sink and water on counter top around the faucet.so I told the guy if the faucet bad I bought another one get told me its definitely isn't the faucet but if it was my cost would be 230.00 so after he fixed the leak he said its 260.00 andi told him that's not what he said.so I paid him and want told my receipt would be emailed so 2days later I got the invoice in the mail.and it said for materials tax and labor 260.00 so I called them because I no he told me it definitely wasn't the facet but he said he saw water clog in the faucet but again he said it definitely wasn't the faucet.and he didn't say I made a mistake it is the faucet.i knew then he just wanted to make extra money.the guy who need the repair called me back and said he made a mistake about charging me for materials he ment to charge me for the hourly charge but my home insurance already had covered them for coming out he couldn't even get his lie together they think ladies will believe any lie they tell them because no way you put on the invoice charge for materials and then take my faucet with him when he didn't buy the replacement faucet but the reason he took it nothing was wrong with it it was only 10 months old.when I spoke to his manager he said he would offer me 5.00 back 😯😯😯😯

We hired them to use hydro jetting service for the drain in our restaurant the service man said it was warranty for one year, we called the customer service that our drain was flooded again she said the warranty is covered only 90days. If you call around or search for other companies for this service most of them warranty is 1 year. For a small family business owner this type of expense is a lot for us. Why would they do stuff like this to people.

Bad company don't deal with those crocks they will rib you off. I called them to check my AC unit he found out the capacitor was not working. he replace it without telling me how much it is going to coast me. I was shocked when he said $295.00 . The trip to the house is $105.00 which I have no problem with , the capacitor coast no more than $15.00 it was hanging by a clip it took him two minutes to replace it. Then he told me the AC has a leak and the coast to fix it is more than $800.00. I paid him his money and told him I will call another honest people to come and fix it. The new company charged me $300 to fix the leak . I was not surprise when he told me they charge no more $50.00 to replace the capacitor, I was ribbed off when Downey Heating & Air conditioning charge me $295.00 for a $15.00 CAP

I would never hire Downeyplumbing.com I found them online and I place a service call for a back up main line and they caused so much damage to my plumbing would not take no responsibility for damage cause by technician did not fixed problem just caused more problems and cost.
