Buckley installed the HVAC and heating system in my home. They have serviced it and have taken very good care of me. Their personnel are friendly and always on time and responsive. Bill always takes the time to say hi to my pets and foster kittens

I cannot recommend Buckley Heat Air Solar enough! The coordinator (Lori) was kind and gave me multiple status updates. The technician (Bill) came on time and was courteous – he covered his shoes and vacuumed up all debris. He was knowledgeable and professional. He was mindful to not let my cat out and even spent time petting her. Best of all, my heating issue was resolved at a reasonable cost.

Buckley Heat Air Solar performed an excellent job when my out-dated heat pump needed a new unit. My old unit was many years beyond the warranty. Jake Buckley showed me that if they fixed the old unit, that it would likely fail again within a year (so that would be money lost).
There was no pressure to install the new unit. Jake Buckley simply showcased the mathematics of the replacement cost. My new unit would cost about $10,000 to install, and the heat pump would receive an affordable loan from S.M.U.D., the Sacramento Municipal Utility District. My monthly payment is only about $125.00, and there is no pre-payment penalty. SMUD wants their residential customers to have modern high-efficiency units that use less electricity. This is a win-win situation.
My SMUD load was approved immediately with minimal paperwork.
Buckley quickly obtained a building permit from Sacramento County, so the installation was legal. The new high-efficiency heat pump was installed in one day by 5 very experienced Buckley crewmen. My old unit was taken away to be recycled and melted-down by a separate vendor who specializes in these HVAC units.
A week later, the Sacramento County Building Inspector arrived, and checked everything carefully. He knew and respected Buckley as a professional HVAC contractor, so the county inspection went well.
My new heat-pump was installed in late-September, which is the off-season in Autumn during favorable weather. Do not wait for bitter cold of Winter, or burning heat of Summer for your HVAC unit to fail. Cleverly use the Autumn or Spring seasons to make an upgrade. Buckley was able to give me a large financial discount for a fair-weather installation in Autumn. In that manner, they can keep their experienced crews fully employed year-around, including the off-seasons.
My detailed report is meant to back-up the my reason for giving Buckley a 5-Star rating. They have been my HVAC contractors for 31 years, and we have a respected professional history.

I've used Buckley for repairs and installation. They helped me to limp an old system along until they could get an install team out to replace it with a new unit. All their work is very clean and they provided me extensive paperwork and information during the quoting and installation process. I regularly recommend them to friends and family.

Ben gave me a call about 20 minutes prior to arriving. Ben showed up on time and was courteous and very professional. I gave instruction where the access was to the attic and he was off focused on his mission. Ben went outside, grabbed his ladder and placed shoe coverings on and he jumped up into the attic. He preformed the maintenance, advised of an issue I may have in the future and shared "he thought the repair could wait", changed my filter and was off to help Buckley's next customer.
